The tardis faded into nothing leaving Rose alone with the clone. To say she was devastated would have been taking it lightly. She was also outraged with the Doctor for leaving her and angry at herself for falling for his trick. She hardly realized she was crying until the clone put his hand on her shoulder. He stood there awkwardly shifting from foot to foot. She wanted to say something but she realized she didn't even know what to call him. She certainly couldn't call him clone forever, and calling him the Doctor would be uncomfortable.

Suddenly the clone spoke, "Well, was I always that big of a jerk?"

"To this, Rose smiled and replied, "Pretty much, yeah." There was a comfortable silence between them for what could have been 5 minutes when Rose asked, "What should we call you? You're going to need a name and Doctor isn't going to work."

The not Doctor sighed and returned, "John Smith. I've always used it as my alias, so it will work nicely."

Rose nodded to him. " Umm, maybe we should go find a way back to London" Rose stuttered. With this they began to walk towards the parking lot quietly. Rose was becoming annoyed with the lack of speech between them he two of them. They had always been very good friends and talked about everything. I mean technically, when she said 'they', she meant his actual self and her, but this was the same man right? He had all of the memories the Doctor had. The only real difference was that this Doctor was half human and contained only one heart.

The Doctor was very upset. Rose wouldn't call him Doctor anymore. Did that mean that she didn't believe he was still him? Did she not care for him anymore? Would she just drop him off somewhere and attempt to find her way back to his counterpart in the other universe? His thoughts worried things like this as they sat on a bus that would be taking them to the airport.

Rose looked over at the Doctor and saw the distress in his face. She asked him what was wrong, but he responded that he was fine. She was reminded of the normal Doctor who was now a universe away. He constantly would reply the same way to her. "I'm fine, Rose. I'm always fine." She realized while reminiscing that this definitely was the same man.d on his shoulder and said, "We're going to be fine Doctor, just fine."
