Just do it!
Sometimes Bobby couldn't believe himself he was usually so brave when it came to fighting but he was as strong as a feather when it came to his feelings about Kitty. Yes she was amazing, just off the top of his head he could think of great things like: she fought like a goddess, he would drool at the sight of her (although not when she was looking) and she was like a freakin' genius. He was head over heels in love with her but was finding it difficult to act upon his feelings. Sure he could ask Jean to read her mind to see if she felt the same or he could act like a normal human being and ask her but he was probably right now lower that a lonely depressed Scott and that just sucked. Alright he was going to do it he was going to jeopardize his whole friendship with Kitty to see if she liked him more that a friend. He left his room feeling scared like a five yr old kid on their first day of school. He walked towards her room thinking about turning back. "Hi Bobby what's up?" said a chirpy sounding Kitty scaring Bobby half to death. "Nothing at all hi Kitty" the blond haired mutant said nervously. "I'm gonna do it" he said mumbling "do what?" Kitty said looking confused. "This" he whispered leaning in and kissing her gently on the lips. Kitty was motionless through the kiss. Bobby stepped back sadly "great just GREAT I've- mmph" he mumbled as Kitty kissed him sweetly on the lips. She deepened the kissed while Bobby stepped back leaning against the wall. His arms snaked around her waist while one of her arms wrapped itself around his neck and her hand started fiddling with his hair. An unsuspecting Hank turned the corner stopped dead and stared. Coming to his senses Hank cleared his throat noisily causing the two teens to jump apart awkwardly and blush. Hank continued down the corridor. As he opened the door he said to no one in particular "I didn't see anything" and he closed the door quietly. "We should talk" Kitty mumbled grabbing his shoulders and walking through the wall into her room. She led him to his bed and they both lay down facing each other. "Look Kitty will you be my girlfriend?" said Bobby "I don't know let me think" she said. Bobby looked at his feet shyly. "Of course I will you idiot do you think I'm stupid or something?" Kitty grinned. "Should we tell the others?" she mumbled at him "Nah let's just let them find out for themselves and just see how fast news travels" Bobby said tilting her chin up to look into her eyes "I'm just lucky I've got you finally" he said. She blushed and he kissed her gently. "Does that mean I can kiss you when others are around?" he said. She swatted his arm gently "No. Let's go before the others find us here". He held her hand as they walked through the door together finally.
