Konan sat on her bed with legs pulled up to her legs, she was crying; Pein and she broke up. And she regretted it. He was the only one to listen to her, he was the only one to pull her into a hug just because she wouldn't tell him what was wrong. Her body racked with sobs as she cried her heart out. She couldn't remember what started the fight but she could remember what ended it…
"Konan, why can't you just stop and listen to me?" He was so soft…
"No, Pein! Sometimes I wonder if you love me at all!" She had lied…
"I didn't touch her-" How could she not see the truth?
"Funny, my dad said the same thing to my mom!" Why did she bring that up? He knew all about it because, he was the only one who could that could comfort her…
"Konan, you know I'm nothing like him!" That was the truth but…
"That's what I thought, but now…" Don't do it… Just Stop… "I'm out of here! You are all the same!"
Konan cried harder as she replayed the scene over and over again in her head. She soon heard a soft melody start playing from outside…
"If all our life is but a dream," She Pein's soft, loving, voice… "Fantastic posing greed, then we should feed out jewelry to the sea, for diamonds do appear to be just like broken glass to me."
Konan got off her bed and walked out onto her balcony. The sight before her took her breath away; Pein was outside with a guitar, singing her favorite song, "Northern Downpour" by "Panic! At The Disco".
"Tripping eyes and flooded lungs," Tears stung her eyes again as she smiled. "Northern Downpour sends its love… Hey moon, please forget to fall down. Hey moon, don't you go down,"
Konan then climbed onto the tree by her balcony and down onto the ground. Pein smiled, put down the guitar, and pulled Konan into a loving hug. He pulled her chin up and kissed her passionately. Multiple chimes of "Aww" could be heard from the bushes behind them. Kakuzu shushed not only the rest of their group, the Akatsuki, but also Pein's six siblings, and Konan's two brothers…
Konan pulled back from the kiss and chuckled. She pulled off her right shoe and promptly threw it at the bush. A small yelp emanated from the bush and the two lovers both chuckled as they started to kiss again…
