She shrieked, kicking, scratching, and biting anything that touched her. It had always been like this when she was told to take her medication. There was never a day she'd willingly leave her room.
"Tch, I told Hyuga we should have given this animal the jacket!" The man grabbed a fistful of her hair, tugging violently. She scream, it could have easily been mistaken as a battle cry. She thrashed, attempting to throw the men off her.
"Let me go!" Her demand was ignored. They continued the process of trying to drag her down the hall. She was just too troublesome.
"You heard the lady, let her go." The group froze, patient included. Neji Hyuga slowly strutted towards them. A delicate and warm smile sat upon his face. Kneeling down, he held his hand out for the restrained women to take. Hesitantly, she accepted it.
'So warm'
He began to stand taking her with him. The doctors immediately removed their hands from her limbs. Pulling her close, Neji lead the brunette down the hall. "Are you alright Tenten? Forgive their rudeness. How has your day been so far?"
She grinned up at her savior as he stroked her brown locks. Nothing was better than spending time with Neji. He was so welcoming, warm, and protective. The only highlight about being in this dreaded hospital.
"It's been really cold lately, and the nurses are still very friendly. Hey, do I have to take my medicine?" They stopped in front of the steal doors. She trembled in fear, what happened behind those doors was inhuman. The man resisted the urge to frown. Instead, he gently raised her chin to look her in the eyes.
"Yes Tenten, you have to take it so you can feel better. Tell you what, if you're a good girl I'll let you have a special lunch with me, how does that sound?" She nodded eagerly. Pulling away from his grasp, she took a deep breath before walking through the double doors.
Once she was out of sight, his smile faltered. Yet another day of lying to her. They weren't helping her, they were hurting her. They were killing her from the inside. He was betraying her. She offered him her friendship, yet he was leading her to death. Was he even worthy enough to say he had fallen for her? He chuckled, of course not.
Using the wall to support him, he shakily made his way down the hall. Behind him, her screams of agony filled the air.
'Neji Hyuga, you're a monster'
