The fighting is over. The Fourth Shinobi World War has ceased.
Swayed by the reasoning of Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage, who had been reanimated by Orochimaru, and Sasuke Uchiha, Obito Uchiha gave his life to resurrect any and all he had murdered, inadvertently or not, during his process to complete the Eye of the Moon Plan.
On the way to the battlefield, Orochimaru, Sasuke and the reunited Taka, as well has the reanimated Hokage stumbled upon the mortally wounded current five Kage. Using his legendary medical ninjutsu, Hashirama revived them, including his granddaughter Tsunade; the Fifth Hokage. Madara Uchiha was permanently sealed, along with the Ten-Tails.
Sasuke decided to maintain his decision to protect the sacrifice of his brother, Itachi Uchiha. For his actions to protect the ninja world, a decision was made to clear him of his status as an international criminal and missing-nin. He, as well as Orochimaru and Taka, were welcomed back into Konoha.
For his outstanding lifelong efforts, Naruto Uzumaki, the Jinchuriki of Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, was announced to be the Sixth Hokage.
The entire shinobi world, along with the samurai of the Land of Iron, ventured to the Village Hidden in the Leaves for his inauguration ceremony.
Naruto stood at the top of the Hokage's Mansion, the Great Stone Faces of the previous Hokage watching down on him, with preparations for his face to soon be added.
The Kage of the other hidden villages were seated behind him, presiding over the ceremony.
"Naruto Uzumaki..." thought Gaara, the Fifth Kazekage, "You've come a long way. I can't think of a more deserving shinobi than yourself."
A, the Fourth Raikage, was seated next to him. "I fought this brat's father. Now I get to serve the shinobi world alongside him. I'm in for a ride..."
Tsunade presented the Hokage's hat, rested atop a velvet pillow and began her rites of passage.
Down in the crowd, Killer B, the Jinchuriki of Gyuki, the Eight-Tails, was thinking of a rap to perform at the after party. "Orange Hokage, baskin' in the glow, he's the star of the whole damn show! WEEEEEEE!"
Sasuke Uchiha smiled lightly as he thought to himself. "This dead-last loser is now Hokage. It's honestly hard to belive. But know that I'll be next in line...Itachi-nii san."
Kakashi Hatake, the Jonin leader of the former Team 7, smiled happily. "Jiraiya-sama, Minato-sensei...I wish you could be here to see what's become of little Naruto. I know you're looking down on him as we speak. But to have been there by his side for every-"
Kakashi's visible eye widened. "WAIT A SECOND..."
Tsunade smiled as she placed the hat on Naruto's head. "With this, I declare you, Naruto Uzumaki, the Sixt-"
