Dry Your Tears

Me: Well I just got through thinking about The Ocarina of Time game and that's when I thought on what happened to Navi after she left Link.

Zelda: I always wondered that as well… let me guess though. You're going to try to make a poem out of it?

Me: Correct! Moving on though!

… Time is a funny thing,

But now it is beginning to tear me apart.

Life is still pulsing through you but I know I can't be with you forever,

If there's one thing I know it's this,

You can handle this horrible news.

I begin to fly away from you but already your eyes are flooded with crystal tears,

I know those tears too well, they are painful tears.

I turn away,

I can't bare to see you cry in front of me.

You cry out the word why,

Now I feel my tears fall.

It's because you're not a Koriki anymore!

He tries to reach for me but it's too late,

I'm already gone before he could say good bye.

The land of Hyrule as I know is beginning to become painful to me,

I fly as far as I can my tears still falling.

I finally stop,

Night has fallen around me.

I look back to see a distant castle,

I can never return there to mess up time again.

I dry my tears in hopes of forgetting Link,

But I know that his tears hasn't dried up yet…

And I'm not there to dry them for him.
