A/N: I have been notified that my use of Simple Plan's lyrics for Gone too Soon is going against the rules of this site... Therefore I will instead advise anyone who likes this oneshot to listen to the song while reading it.
In both good and bad times his father was always there like a lamp, firmly grasping him and leading him out of the dark.
Stoick was always there, and now having him gone was like misplacing the sun and having to guide yourself through life without it. It just wasn't natural.
Hiccup blinked and then he was gone. He didn't even get to say goodbye...
Stoick truly was Gone Too Soon.
