Here is another short one for you guys.
Troy Bolton was walking through the mess of busy high school students until he was stopped by his best friend Chad Danforth.
"Where have you been man? I've been looking every where for you, so has Sharpay! What happened?"
"I just saw Gabriella…"
"Oh, damn. What happened?"
Gabriella Montez ran to the school assuming she was late. Of course, if you love school as much as Gabriella Montez, late was about 8:00 a.m. when school started at 9:00 a.m. As she walked through the halls, she noticed her best friend Taylor McKessie waiting for her at her locker.
"Gabriella, I tried calling you yesterday after school. What happened?"
"Troy happened!"
"Common, talk to me."
Of course, what Gabriella and Troy didn't know was that they were having their conversations at the same time. So let's just put their conversations together.
"I saw her yesterday…"
"I saw him yesterday…"
"It seems like it has been forever since we've talked."
"I wonder if he still cares."
"She looked even better than before…"
"I couldn't help but stare at him, Taylor."
"I asked how things were going with her."
"I asked how Sharpay and he were doing."
"I would choose her over any girl."
"He's probably really happy with Sharpay."
"I couldn't even look at her without starting to cry."
"He didn't even look at me."
"I meant to say I miss her."
"I wondered if he missed me."
"Then I told her that I missed her."
"Then he told me, but I don't think he misses me."
"I meant it."
"He didn't mean it."
"I still love Gabriella so much."
"He loves Sharpay now."
"I hugged her for the last time."
"He gave me a friendly hug goodbye."
"Then I went home and cried."
"Then I went home and cried."
"I still love her."
"I still love him."
Gabriella explained this to her Taylor and Taylor gave her a bone crushing hug. Troy got a pat on the back by Chad. Gabriella had to get to homeroom, so did Troy. Gabriella and Troy started walking to homeroom, they caught each others eye but both looked down to the ground.
