Ed walked out of Central HeadQuarters, complaining about the Colonel, reports, the Colonel, paperwork, the Colonel, and most importantly: the Colonel. He walked all the way down the sidewalk and into the local park.
"I mean, why doesn't he just shove that freakin' pen right up his big, fat, a--OW!" Ed yelped, rubbing his head furiously. He looked up at the huge palmtree he had run into and muttered distractedly.
"Sorry, Envy," he patted the tree awkwardly on the trunk and kept walking.
"Awww," a blinding flash of white light and the tree was gone, replaced by the green-haired homunculus.
"How'd you know it was me, O'chibi?" Envy crossed his arms, pretending to pout. "And I thought my disguise was perfect!"
"...You were wearing a disguise?" Ed clapped a hand over his mouth, but he had already made the crucial mistake. Envy's eyes darkened.
"What did you just say?" Envy growled dangerously.
"N-nothing, palm tr--I mean Envy," Ed looked left. Ed looked right. And he ran for his life, the spiky-haired homunculus never too far behind.
