The night hides the shadows. We can never be normal, we gave that up not to long ago. We sleep during the day for the light haunts us. It reminds us of how we use to be. What life use to be like, what it will never be like again.
"Y'all its time for your next assignment," stated a fair skinned man,"I know your new
here,Selene, and all but we just got in a new case and we need your skills." A young woman sat
silently in a chair. The moon light cased a dim shadow on her silhouette.
"I don't know what you could possibly need me for but I must accept this next mission then I
shall." Selene walked over to the man and pulled the manila envelope out of his hand.
"U'll be havin to escort this royalty through Russia," he said sheepishly. "Shes bit of a brat though they
say. Always getting her way and such."
"Oh great you know how fond I am of ungrateful children like that!"
"Yeah, I know I personally have never met anyone like that," he chuckled ", down where
I come from your grateful for every little penny."
"That's the only reason why I can put up with a imbecile like you."
"Hey!" By the time he spoke that Selene was already out the door. "What are we going to do
with you?"
The mission file said that this guardian mission was going to be done in a group. "Oh great just
what I need more people to get in the way." Selene glared at the mission file. "I'm going to hate this
mission." She hoped on top for her motorcycle and began to head due west. The place where she was
supposedly going to meet her first comrade for this mission.
"God I hope their all not going to be complete brats," she angrily muttered to herself. Little did
she know this group of people was going to be one of the most diverse groups that she would ever meet.
