The Abyss And Her Heart

Falling downhill,
I see her crying,
Spilling tears when all she has is lost.

It seems that I meant more to her,
Than I had one time thought.

Breathing out,
I see the meaning,
And I can't rewind time.

Now I know what's going on,
And I regret my ignorance.

Leave me now,
Don't help me,
I can do it myself,
I know I've been harsh with my words
To her.

Why had she never
Told me of her love,
The love that never seemed to fade away?

Maybe she knew,
That I
Would throw it in her face.

But now my knowledge
Can't help me where I am,
I'm falling downhill...
I know I shouldn't have
Said what I did:

Leave me now,
Don't help me,
I can do it myself,
I know that I've been harsh with my words
To her.

The flames have engulfed me now,
I'm burning where I was destined to go...
I've fallen...down...
