Author's Note:

So, after a couple of years I've finally decided to start writing again. I'm not sure what you guys will think of this 'cause I'm pretty sure the form of my stories are a real pathetic layout. But, I'll do my best.

Running for you life in the middle of the woods was not what Liz would consider to be a great time. Sure, nature's beautiful and all that jazz but when you have someone chasing you? Not so great.

She knew it was a bad idea to go out exploring at night, she really did and yet here she was: crashing through the bushes, tears streaking her cheeks and her throat burning from panting. However, after growing up as a human in a supernatural family of werewolves and druids, you tend to think you can take on the world. But how would she know that she'd end up being chased through the woods?

She pulled her phone out of her pocket, fingers fumbling with the lock as she hurriedly tried to call the police. God, she was so stupid. Why couldn't have she stayed in bed and watched netflix all night, instead she decided 'Hey, let's go to the least safest place in-

Her foot caught on a tree root and she went flying forward, hands thrown outwards to try and soften the blow of her fall. Panic swept through her as she dug fingers through the dirt for her phone and struggled to get back onto her feet. The fear of what was behind her urging her instinct to run and to run now.

She could hear the footsteps behind her getting closer and a whimper tore out of her throat. The bushes began to shake and she couldn't control her sobs. Her heart was pumping wildly in her chest and the terror gripping at her muscles left her kneeling there still. C'mon Liz, move, get up and run!

Her fingers clawed at the ground as she was paralyzed with fear. She needed to move move move-

Silver glinted at the corner of her eye and pain exploded to the side of her head. Then it all went black.

Her head was throbbing, shadows danced across the back of her eyelids and she could feel the ground vibrate underneath her. Peeling her eyes open she took in her surroundings. She was on a tree stump, limbs restrained and there was a figure in front of a fire. She tried to move her hands but pain burst through her palms and she bit her lips to keep in the sobs. She looked down at her legs, both of them restrained with rope. Then glancing up, as best as she could, she took in the appearance of her hands. Rope was wrapped around her wrists and a nail had been hammered through the palms and into the stump. They ached viciously now that she was paying attention to them. A wail tore out of her throat and her eyes clamped shut, she was gonna die here. This was it.

"Hey, shh- Stop making so much noise! Do you want to get me caught Elizabeth?"A voice snapped, her eyes flew open to see the face of her captor. It was a boy, he looked 18 and he had a knife pointed in her face. There was a deranged glint to his eyes and a scowl was marking his face.

"What? Who are you! How do you even know my name!? Just let me go!" She whimpered, wrists pulling at the restraints and her head swivelling wildy, looking for an escape.

"This really isn't this bad. I mean, being a virgin sacrifice is an honor!" He shouted, hands thrown to the air with both of them wrapped around the handle of the knife. Her blood ran cold and she struggled to move her legs, hoping that somehow she could get free.

"No! No no no, please God no! Don't do this! You've got it all wrong! I'm not a virgin! Let me go!" Liz pleaded, her throat hoarse and tears began to pool in her eyes. The boy's hand snapped forward, hitting her cheek as he shouted at her.

"Just shut up!" His hands rose higher, his stance shifted as he was getting ready and she looked away, praying that this was all a dream and she'd wake up any second.

The knife came down and a gasp passed through her lips. She was numb for a second and she wondered is this what dying feels like but then he pulled the knife out and pain seared through her chest as blood rose in her throat. She began to scream as he lifted the knife to stab again and again and again-

A gunshot rang through the forest and the knife slipped from the boy's hands. Her ears were ringing as he fell to the side and out of vision, the knife clattered to the ground. She coughed, blood bubbling pass her lips as she struggled to see who her saviour was. A face appeared in her vision, his voice low and soothing.

"It's alright now, an ambulance is coming, alright?. Just hold on, will you do that for me? Hold on!" Her eyes scanned him as her limbs began to get heavy. Greying hair and such, such green eyes. His hands shook as he tore his jacket off to press it to her wounds, a desperate attempt at trying to staunch the blood flow. Her eyes fell to the badge, a name tag reading 'Sheriff Stilinski' was the last thing she saw as everything faded to black.
