I MAY FALL
But I will Bring You Down With Me
I DO NOT ANYTHING FROM MARVEL! ONLY MY OC'S AND PLOT!
Thousand's of years ago the young race of humans worshiped Deities, like Zeus the King of The Gods. But as they grew older, and maybe not wiser, they adopted science into their lives. Throwing away ancient traditions the humans rejoiced in their new ideas.
Thinking themselves god's the humans warred with each other, spilling innocent blood for the sake of becoming the best and mightiest. They shunned everything weak, and destroyed everything that didn't bend to their will and didn't share their ideal's.
The humans were at war with what they were. Animals.
CHAPTER ONE
Animal Instincts
- 1235BC – Greece -
Screams of horror painted the air, blood spilled from wounds painting the ground in red.
Humans killed each other, with hardened steel they fought. Slashing at brothers, slashing at themselves. They did not think, they fought.
Two armies fought each other, two armies of the same species, same blood, and the same mind.
The defending armies left flank started to waver and the offending army sniffed the air in victory. Slamming into the flank, destroying their brethren.
From a hill to the west a lone figure watched, eyes as gold as a hawks. Then the figure turned, disgusted in the human race.
The battle continued, the offending armies forces breaking through any defense and hurrying into the unguarded city, slaughtering children, raping women and murdering the elderly. All the while they congratulated each other, or slit each others throats over some small trifle.
- 2009AD – America -
"We don't know if they are planning to attack us or not!" A burly politician shouted out in anger, "All we know is that they are gathering hundred's of weapons, arming children!" He slammed a flabby fist onto the table. This man's name was Simon, his family had been in politics' for many generations. He was an average looking human, a bald head with dark brown side burns, he wore spectacles around his plain brown, beady eyes. His mouth was an interesting feature, much too big for the rest of him, he spluttered and spat naturally, obviously evolved to do so. His eyebrows were thick and ugly, he had a double chin which descended into his thick neck. He had no waistline, as he was sitting down.
"They are indeed a risk." A smooth voice muttered, Simon glared over at this newcommer.
"Fred, of course. They are a very big risk, and must be taken care of immediately. We should send the marines in to get rid of every last one of those terrorists." Simon stated.
"Of course." This voice was female, and very alluring, Simon's strict face wavered for a moment, glancing over into the comely face of Miss Fleur, she was a pretty brunette, "But have they moved to attack us?"
"We have no idea." Simon shrugged, "But that doesn't-"
Miss Fleur raised one eyebrow smoothly, "Matter? Yes, it does. If we attack innocent's we are no better then them."
"They are a risk to the nation!" Simon cried out.
Miss Fleur folded her hands together, "We shall not have this discussion whilst the President is not here."
"Only because you will lose." Simon muttered under his breath, already knowing that he had the President in his hand. He would order the strike against these terrorists.
- 2 Weeks Later- Iran -
Children screamed for their mothers as fire rained down upon the small village. The weapons they had been gathering to try and get rid of the bandits that plagued them were burnt to cinders. American Troops stomped through the land, killing anyone. The men of the village attempted to fight back, only to die in vain.
As the fire raged through the buildings crumpled, their supports of wood falling beneath them, women and children were crushed, their weak bodies crumpling like paper.
"They are despicable." Loki stated to his Father, Odin. Thor who stood beside them said nothing.
"The human's fear power, even if it is their own." Odin stated, gesturing to where a soldier shot an unarmed man, "They fear if someone if more powerful then them, or right in their ways."
"They are nothing but animals." Loki spat.
"The humans are just defending themselves." Thor said.
Loki raised an eyebrow, "Against each other? Their ruler is obviously incompetent."
"These humans each have different rulers, my sons. There are hundreds of them." Odin answered, watching with a wise eye.
"How do they stay in control of their people?" Thor asked.
"Obviously, they don't." Loki stated.
Odin sighed, closing his one eye, hearing the battle rage on and his son's bicker. He didn't notice the two golden eyes watching him carefully.
A single person walked through the aftermath of the battle, after the Asgardian's left and the soldier went onto another village. It walked with no purpose, only surveying the destruction, nimble hands shaking. There was a reason behind the shaking, but the figure did not know it. It's cloak billowed in the wind, moving just enough for a strand of golden hair to fall out.
This person had had enough of suffering, and moved on to watch another war.
"Asgardian's, Humans, everyone is pathetic." The figure stated, her voice beautiful and lilting, her two golden eyes glared at the spot the three Asgardian's had stood, "Pathetic."
End.
