Power Ranger Wild Force
Never Alone
The sky was clear not a cloud to be seen, Princess Shayla found days like this relaxing. Most of the time she found herself at the temple looming over the sacred waters but today was different. Laying on a bed of grass deep within one of the many forests on the Animairum the princess decided to let her body rest for awhile.
The Earth was safe there were no org sightings hence the rangers could continued on with their normal lives. Perhaps Master Org was building up his strength or thinking of a new strategy to conquer the Earth. Whatever he was doing the sacred waters remained still.
While the Princess did enjoy the sight of the trees reaching out to the sky as the various birds flew overhead singing their wonderful melodies it didn't warm her heart like it use to. Even with the various animals from deer to bears roaming the grounds the princess wasn't happy. A long sigh escaped her lips as she finally rose to her feet.
The princess quickly looked around when her ears picked up a familiar roar. Soon a small smile formed at the corner of her lips for within moments the Red Lion Wildzord stood before her with his golden mane glistening in the sunlight.
She was soon joined by the Black Bison tearing thru the forest and the White Tiger jumping out from behind a few bushes. Her eyes wandered over to the lake to see none other than the Blue Shark in the waters greeting the princess. Lastly looming up above was the yellow eagle her voice rang out as well making her presence known.
"My dear friends you have no idea how my heart jumps with joy to see you all, but alas I still feel so empty inside." The princess admitted.
"I would too if I was stuck here all by myself as well." A familiar voice answered.
Turning around Princess Shayla's heart skipped a beat as her eyes widen for leaning on the trunk of a pine tree was a familiar blond haired blue eyed lass smiling back at her.
"Taylor but….how?" The princess asked.
"It was yellow eagle she told me thru our link that something was wrong so I came here in fact we all did. The others are waiting back by the sacred waters at the temple." Taylor explained.
The princess quickly looked away as she felt a few tears slide down her cheeks. While she was glad the rangers were here she also couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt for expressing such an emotion.
Taylor merely sighed she shook her head and moved to the princess's side. She laid a hand on her shoulder which prompted the brown haired princess to look back at her friend.
"It's okay we all feel lonely sometimes." Taylor said.
"I …just didn't want to burden everyone with this." Princess Shayla confessed.
"You're never a burden Princess especially to me." Taylor replied.
Princess Shayla couldn't hold it back any longer as she wrapped her arms around Taylor. The yellow ranger welcomed the hug. Tears of loneliness turned into tears of joy as the two of them walked hand in hand back to the temple.
"You know it would be easier to take yellow eagle back there."
"True but I find this way much better don't you?"
A smile formed across Taylor's lips as a warm breezed brushed past them. Taylor nodded her head in agreement.
"Yeah you're right there's no need to rush we'll be there in no time." Taylor replied.
Princess Shayla responded with a nod, the Wildzords voices scorched the skies as she silently thanked every single one of them. For she no longer felt alone; the rangers would always be there if she needed them.
