Ardyn walks around the main branch of .Machina Industries as he left it burning to the ground. In fact, he has burned down a lot of these buildings all to lure out one man.

Isaac Westcott...

"Do you have a death wish, mister? Nobody burns down my company and gets away with it!" the white-haired man said in anger which contrasts the usual grin on his face.

"So here you are, my copycat," the red-violet hair taunted. "This place must go because there can be only one who will doom this entire world, and that is me."

"Wizards!" Westcott furiously called out his minions. "Attack!"

The DEM Wizards started shooting at him, but Ardyn is fast enough to dodge them. He goes behind one and slaughters him quickly with his sword. Just as the other two Wizards are about to use their Territory against him, he quickly slaughters them as well.

"Is that all you got, wannabe?" the immortal man taunted the director again.

"You ain't seen nothing yet!" Westcott unveils the Demon King, Beelzebub, which is a book.

"Ah, the Demon King: Beelzebub..." Ardyn recognized his weapon. "So what are you going to book me?" he chuckled as if he's not taking his opponent seriously.

"Oh, you don't know what it can do," the director grinned as he unveils a page and out came a shadow hand reaching out for him which Ardyn is about to cut it down. Westcott tries another page to unveil a shadow hand, but his opponent quickly cuts it down.

"If you ask me, your summoning needs working."

"Damn! Why did I just extract Material A's crystal wholly?!"

"Yeah, you should have done that."

"Do not underestimate me!"

Westcott summons more pages from Beelzebub to unleash shadow creatures from it. Unfortunately, Ardyn is able to cut them down without breaking a sweat.

This is not looking good for him.

"I have one trump card you haven't seen just yet," the director is losing his cool due to losing the fight. "Phantom Lib..."

He is then interrupted with a stab to the chest by Ardyn before he could make his move. Even if he has omniscience thanks to the Demon King, he isn't fast enough to dodge the blow.

"Look at you. You have all this magical technology, yet you only use it for defense and to run away," Ardyn taunted him once again. "Also, you don't have enough power to beat me. I'm more powerful you can possibly imagine. After all, unlike you, I lived for hundreds of years to become stronger."

It looks like Westcott has underestimated his opponent, and that resulted in his loss. Ardyn pulls the blade out of his chest as Westcott falls to the ground dead.

With this battle complete, Ardyn will continue on with his scheme.
