Challenge Word: Busy

A/N: This is my first drabble in months. Sorry I've been MIA, folks. I'd love to blame real life craziness, but the truth is that I fell victim to a killer combo of mild depression and extreme laziness. My grandmother used to call it dropsy and heart trouble... He'd been surprised when the two young men crashed through his door, but his house became extremely upset. It howled, flinging things around the room. It tossed those boys too, one into a wall and the other through his window. The boys picked themselves up and began chanting some nonsense. The house's abrupt silence left the man dizzy with relief.

The next morning, he sat at his usual spot by the broken window, watching with satisfaction as his busybody neighbors gawped at the destruction of his home. They'd always called him paranoid, freak, and bat-shit-crazy. Well, who was crazy now?!
