Another Thomas rewrite, this time it's "The Diseasel" from Season 2. Enjoy and comment.
Bill and Ben are tank engine twins. They both have four wheels, a tiny chimney, a tiny dome, and a small cab.
They often take freight cars full of china clay. China clay is useful for many things, like pottery, paper, paint and many other things.
The twins keep busy, pulling freight cars for the engines on the main line, and ships on the harbor.
One morning, the twins arranged some freight cars full of china clay, and went away to collect some more.
When they arrived back, they noticed they were gone.
The twins were surprised, and so was their drivers, who noticed a patch of oil.
"That oil had to come from Diesel!" they said.
"A waddle?" asked Bill.
"A diseasel!" replied Ben. "There's a notice about it in our sheds. Coughs and sneezels, spread diseasels!"
"You had a cough in your smokebox yesterday! It's your fault that the diseasel came!"
"No it isn't!"
"Yes it is!"
"That's enough you two!" said their drivers. "Let's go rescue our freight cars."
Bill and Ben were horrified!
"But the diseasel will take us away like our freight cars!"
"He won't magic us!" said their drivers. "We'll most likely magic him. He doesn't know you're twins, so we'll take away your numbers and nameplates!"
Puffing hard, the two twins set off to find the "diseasel"
They were looking forward to playing tricks on him.
Creeping up to the yard, they found the missing cars.
Ben hid behind, while Bill went to find the "diseasel"
The "diseasel" looked up.
"Do you mind?!"
"Yes!" said Bill, "I do! I want my cars back!"
"But these are mine! Go away, shoo!"
Bill pretended not to be frightened.
"You're a big bully!" he whimpered. "You'll be sorry!"
Then Bill ran back and hid behind some freight cars.
Ben then came forward.
"Car stealer!" he hissed.
Then he ran away too.
Bill took his place, then Ben, then Bill again, then Ben again!
It went on and on until the "diseasel" eyes nearly popped out.
"Stop! You're making me giddy!"
The two engines gazed at him.
"Are there two of you?"
"Yes! We're twins!"
"I should have known!"
Just then, Edward puffed up.
"Why are you two playing here?" he asked.
"We're not playing!" protested Bill.
"We're rescuing our cars!" said Ben. "Even you don't take our cars without asking, but this "diseasel" did!"
"This so called "diseasel" is all-electric!" said Edward.
Bill and Ben were amazed.
"We're sorry!"
"Never mind! Call me BoCo! I'm sorry if I didn't understand about the cars!"
"That's alright then!" said Edward. "Now off you go Bill and Ben! Fetch BoCo's cars, then come back for my lot!"
Edward then turned to BoCo.
"They aren't any harm, but they do make me mad sometimes!"
BoCo chuckled.
"Mad is the word!"
