Confusing Love

My first realistic story. I know that this is a Fanfiction website, but I want to start off with an original story, just so I can get the feel of writing a story. Hopefully you guys enjoy the first chapter. I know its short, but I can't really type that much without much feedback.

Confusing Love

Chapter 1

I lie in my bed and I stared at my phone. I'm waiting for Bethany (but I'm calling her Beth) to reply. I look briefly at the clock. Ugh it's 10:48. How long does it take her to reply? I thought to myself. I was waiting for my ex to reply. At the time, I had strong feelings for her, and she just went through a break up. She replied saying "I don't want to love anyone. I'll reject everyone, I don't care anymore!"

Me, feeling discouraged, just replied saying "If that's what you want, then stay single. As long as you're happy, then do what you want."

"Shut up! Leave me alone. You don't want me to be happy, you just want me to be yours."

"No, I love you, and that's why I want you happy. Unlike that bastard at hurt you, I wouldn't do that!" It was 11 at that point, and she left me on seen. I just fell asleep.

~Monday~

I saw her in the hallways, and she barely even bothered to bat an eye. I had Spanish class with her. With Spanish being the language of love, I was determined to show her how I felt about her. As soon as I saw her there, I froze. Maybe I shouldn't do this. I'll be selfish if I do that. I left it as it is, and didn't even bother.

~Tuesday~

I walked in Spanish class, and saw her kissing another guy! She saw me, and then purposely hugged this guy again! "Hey, didn't see you there. How ya doing, Junior?" I quickly replied, "good," and left for my seat. So many thoughts ran through my mind. Who was that guy? She knows I like her, and yet she moves onto this other guy? Does she not want me?" I wasn't the same after Tuesday.

~Wednesday~

I walked into school, and saw her and this guy holding hands. I quickly walked to my locker to put stuff in. The school bell rang, meaning I have to hurry up and get to homeroom! I quickly gathered my stuff, and as I walked in, my friend, Sara, had a cute dress on. I've known her for 3 years now, but that day it was like I never met her. "You look great!" I said to her. "Glad you like it. I wore it for you." she replied bashfully. Then our math teacher told us to get to our seat. Maybe, it's time to give up on Beth, and move on to someone else...
