How long had she been here? There was no way to be sure. Months for all she knew. Her light hair somewhere between brown and blond hung free. Free however was the last thing it looked, it hung tattered and worn. Her Blue-gray eyes looked more red. Pressing her hands along the edge of the wall she once again edges her way across it looking for something she missed. A gap, a switch. Anything that would free her of this place.
Her hands turning into fists she bangs against it as hard as she can, the sounds of her struggle intensified by the emptiness of this place. Completely closed off from everything. She looked at her hand, the wounds had healed over but still it stung she could still feel it being crushed under an incredible power.
A ball of light formed in her hand as she hurled it at the wall. Nothing, another one stronger this time the light more intense. Still nothing. Another ball this time imbued with all her power instead of a white light, a turquoise one formed she hurled it into the wall a blue mist following it. It however had the same effect as its predecessors. Nothing. She heaved worn out from the fighting would she be stuck here forever. She screamed releasing her aggravation and her fear the sounds echoing off the walls of her prison.
It came again, like daggers through her brain. She fell forwards hands over her temples screaming this time in pain. She used all of her training, all of her power to make the pain stop. To go to a different place of her consciousness or to use her magic to expel the pain. Create a barrier around her mind even but nothing worked.
As quickly as it started the pain subsided and she was left on the floor in the fetal position sobbing. She was lost and the only thing that was keeping her sane was memories. Memories of her friends, no they weren't friends they were family. Most importantly her memories of the one person that meant the most to her. She knew that they wouldn't leave her here. That if there was a way they would find her.
A voice sounded in her head the voice of the one who had sent her here. A voice that she'd never forget.
"They're not coming for you. She's not coming for you. You can hope and dream as much as you want but there isn't a way to save you. They've given up looking. You think they even care? No one cares!"
She shook her head. She couldn't accept that. Wouldn't accept that. They were coming to find her. She knew it. This strengthened her resolve as she brought herself to her feet. A soft wind blowing through the small room at her command as it became flecked with blue energy surging throughout the room fighting to free her. Like many times before her magic failed to free her but she wouldn't give up. As the blue energy flowed something strange happened. The blue energy became joined with red together creating a purple flow of energy. The energy grew bright as it shattered the room around her a bright light shining through. The light faded and as it faded she was in a different place and time. She saw a face, a face of the person to who the red energy belonged. The person she knew wouldn't leave her there and the person she loved.
"Willow? I got so lost."
"I found you. I'll always find you."
She embraced her saviour, she was home.
