Outbreak.

Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters in Yu-Gi-Oh! I make no money! I am simply barrowing the characters. (Also the main idea for this story is based on the Walking Dead, I don't own anything of that either! It just gave me the basic idea for this story!)

Authors note: Some parts of this story may link to my others, however this is like an alternate universe! Yami is engaged to Seto in this story. And yes, there is still some of the past life stuff, but this story won't be going into any of that.

Chapter one: Outbreak

Yami woke slowly, looking around his dark office. He blinked as his eyes adjusted. Carefully sitting up, an odd smell clung to the air. A mixture of smoke, with a hint of something rotting. Scanning the room his eyes landed on a limp body. "Mokuba!" Yami crawled over to him, he gently shook his shoulder.

Mokuba groaned and mumbled, "Yami…? What happened?" He blinked and made a face. "What the smell?"

Yami sighed, "I don't really know Mokuba. All I remember is hearing screaming, and then hearing planes and helicopters."

Mokuba stood up and moved over to window. Yami also stood but moved to his desk and checked his phone. 'Six pm? How long were we out?'

"Yami! Hurry come here!"

Yami moved to the window. "What the hell happened?!"

Cars were spread across the roads, the sky was dark with billows of smoke hanging like fog. Yami made a noise in his throat, through the smoke he spotted a few bodies. Pulling Mokuba away from the window he quickly dialed Yugi's number. Yami stuttered, he was greeted with a dial tone and a message, "We're sorry, but your call cannot be completed as dialed."

Mokuba stared at him, "Y…Yami?"

Yami typed in Seto's number, only to receive the same message. Slipping his phone into his pocket he stated, "Mokuba, let's go." Yami touched the door, but stopped. Looking back at the desk he noticed the Egyptian sword in its case. Yami strode over to it and opened the case. Taking both swords out and hooking them to his hip, Yami answered, "Just in case…We need to find Seto and Yugi."

"Why do we need them? Aren't they for display only?" Mokuba asked, while looking at the swords.

Yami gave him a gentle smile, "They are remakes of the actual swords I used while I was pharaoh. These are very real, and very sharp." Yami took one out. "These are khopesh style." The sword was straight from the hilt, with a curve in the middle. Changing into a sharp point. "And I believe that I still remember how to use them." Placing it back onto his hip, "Okay Mokuba, we need to head to the hospital to see if Seto is still there."

Opening the door, Yami peaked out. "all clear, come on." They silently moved among the exhibits, breathing in an odd smell of death.

"Yami…w...what's on the floor?" Yami tuned to look at where Mokuba was pointing. The normally pearly white had a streak of dark red blood.

Gently taking Mokuba's wrist Yami said, "Stay close to me." Slowly following the blood trail, they were nearing the lobby when a crunching sound reached them. Both stopped to see the blood trail had also stopped. Yami felt Mokuba clutch the back of his shirt as they were greeted by a man being ripped into on the floor. Yami was frozen in horror. He scanned the scene before them, the thing that was devouring the man on the floor had been a security guard here. His eyes fell to his waist where a gun was holster. "Mokuba. We need that gun. Stay here."

Yami pulled out both his swords and slowly moved over to the bloody pare. The thing crouched over the body, whipped around to stare at Yami with dead pale blue eyes. Yami stared, shocked for a moment before the man charged at him. Yami jumped back gracefully and took off its head. Yami looked down at the head, moving back in disgust as he noticed that the eyes were still blinking, and was still trying to take a bite out of him. Causally stepping over the head, Yami knelt next to the body and taking the gun. "Okay, come on Mokuba, but please be careful."

Mokuba hurried over to him, "You didn't drive today did you?"

Yami frowned, "No…Seto asked me to get a ride. He's supposed to be released today…Of course, he wasn't going to be driving."

Mokuba peaked out the broken doors, and slowly moved over to them. Glancing back at Yami, as he figured out where to place the gun on his body. "Yami…what if there is more of them out there?"

Joining him at the door Yami said softly, "I bet you there are…Just stay close to me and we will find a way to the hospital…" Whipping off his sword, he offered Mokuba a gentle smile. "I'm sure Seto is growing tired of waiting for us."

&*&*&*(

Getting up from the cold floor, Seto glared at the window. 'What the hell happened?' Taking in the surroundings of the hospital room, he grunted as he slowly stood up. The room itself was dim, most of the light coming in from the window. He had been preparing to be discharged today, he blinked in surprise as he noticed a gun sitting on a desk. Picking it up, Seto realized it must belong to one his men. Slipping it in the back of his pants he moved to the window. He took in the gray sky, smoking buildings and odder of death. The outside world seemed as if a bomb had hit. Seto turned to the door, and tugged it open. Blood was smeared on the floor and splattered most of the walls. While lights flickered on and off, with parts of the hallways blacked out. His eyes wondered the floor to spot random dead bodies. He rubbed his eyes, t…that didn't move. He told himself. Walking down the shady hallway and hurrying to an exit. It's chinned up?! What the hell? He laid his hand on the door and frowned, he wasn't sure how to get out of this particular hospital.

"Kaiba?"

Seto turned to see Joey and Mai hurrying toward him.

Joey said, "Did you find a way out?!"

Seto gave him a look, despite his small sense of relief at finding someone he knew. "What does it look like?" he snapped at him. Ignoring Joey's glare as he was just about to take his hand away from the door and move on when something on the other side of the door slammed against it full force. Seto jumped, moving away from the door and pinning his back to an adjacent wall he stared at the door. He looked to Joey and Mai to see that they had done the same.

He began moving, "If you're coming with me keep up!" He shot at Mai and Joey.

Seto glanced back at the door. The only thing keeping it closed was the heavy chain and pad lock. Squinting a little in the dim hallway, it allowed him to see pale dead eyes staring out at him through the slowly ever opening doors. The sounds coming from the beyond the door made his skin crawl; loud heavy breathing and scratching. The already cumbersome essence of death and decay over took him. Throwing a hand over his mouth and nose to attempt to reduce the stench adrenaline took over. Taking a quick glance at the pair following him, he waved his free had them to follow. Placing his hand on the wall he desperately felt for another way out. Behind him, the unmistakable sound of metal crashing to the floor stopped him. Causing Joey to bump into him. Not risking to look behind him, Seto hurried on. Scraping, shallow breathing and loud uneven footsteps followed them heavily. Seto could feel his heart pounding, while also hearing it in his ears as his hands fell upon a door knob. Looking up quickly he read 'emergency exit only.' He yanked it open and all but fell into pure darkness. Feeling Mai and Joey stumble after him. He tugged the door closed and swallowed. There was no light in his stairway, but it was his only chance out of this hospital. The scratching and banging from the door pushed them onward. Seto was glad that Joey was choosing to keep shockingly quiet. Holding onto the railing he worked his way down to the ground floor. Mildly surprised and extremely grateful to find that they were alone there. Reaching his goal he pushed the heavy metal door open. Sunlight fell onto his face blinding him for a moment. The obnoxious tang of death took away the fresh air Seto had been expecting. Wondering down the steps he stared in wonder and shock at what he saw. Bodies were piled on each other covered in white fabric. Accompanied by truck loads of even more bodies. Seto slowly and carefully made his way around and over the corpses. I would think this was all a dream if it wasn't for the smell…Seto thought.

"It's…this bad outside? Wasn't' this contained?" Mai asked.

Seto gave a 'hum' as a response. "Obviously not..." Leaving the hospital grounds, he turned to them. "Look, I feel that we need to head to my house first…You don't need to come. I was going to look for Yami and Mokuba afterwards."

Joey blinked in surprised, "You…are letting us come?"

Seto rolled his eyes and kept walking, "Safety in numbers. Come if you're coming." Mai and Joey looked at each other, nodding they hurried after Seto.

*(&*(&**(&('

Mokuba kept a tight hold on Yami's arm. The streets were empty, "Can we just take one of these cars?"

Yami let a gasp escape, "You're right Mokuba!" They both ran over to the nearest car that wasn't completely destroyed. The piled in and noticed the keys happened to be in the ignition. Yami turned the key. The car made a pitiful sound and stayed silent. Yami frowned, he tried pumping the gas and tried again. Glaring, Yami continued to try to get the car to start. Yami looked at Mokuba, "Stay here okay?" Popping the hood of the car, Yami got out and quietly check the connections to the battery.

Mokuba watched Yami move out of the car silently. He looked around the car, blinking he looked out the window. He grew pale as he shouted, "Yami!" A zombie had a hold of his arm through the part way open window.

Yami swiftly moved and sliced the zombie's arm off. Mokuba scrambled out of the driver side of the car, stumbling until he hit the ground. Throwing the arm that was still clinging to him across the street. Where is lay twitching as it landed. Mokuba looked back to Yami, who finally took the zombie down.

Yami pulled Mokuba against him. "Time to go." Yami kept Mokuba in front of him. Watching as that one zombie became a small group. Yami slipped one arm around Mokuba's chest.

Mokuba clutched Yami's arm, closing his eyes tightly. Yami continued to walk backward with Mokuba, "Mokuba…you need to make a run for it."

"Not without you!"

"This isn't up for discussion Mokuba!" As Yami was about to push Mokuba away from him, a minivan pulled up, skidding to a halt in front of them.

The sliding door opened, "Yami! Mokuba! Hurry get in!"

Yami pushed Mokuba inside, and followed, closing the door behind him. The van took off the second the door snapped shut. "Yami!" Yugi threw himself on him. "You're okay! We were so worried! What were you tow thinking?!"

Mokuba looked at Yugi, "We need to get to the hospital right away! That's where Seto is!"

Duke looked at Mokuba in his review mirror. "The hospital isn't an option. It is under military control…We have already went by there looking for you."

Yami and Mokuba simply stared at him.

Duke sighed, "Everyone at the hospital is dead Yami…This is also including Joey and Mai."

Looking at Mokuba Yami said softly, "Let's move to the back of the van." Mokuba numbly moved to the back and sat down with tears shinning in his eyes.

Yugi whispered, "I'm sorry Yami."

Yami hugged Yugi again, "We all have lost people today…" He moved to the back of the van with Mokuba. Once he sat down he hugged Mokuba to him, rubbing his back as Mokuba cried into his chest. Yami sighed and said softly, "Where are we going?"

"Well, whatever town is closest."

Yami stroked Mokuba's hair, and took out his phone. I hope this works….I know you're alive Seto…I hope this gets to you. He sent a text and an e-mail to Seto.

*&(*^*

Seto made his way to his house, getting there just before night fall. Typing in the lock code that he had on the penthouse. Closing the door with a snap and hearing an automatic lock kick into place he strode across the room. Joey slid down against the door as Mai leaned against the wall. Seto looked around the house, seeing and hearing no one panic sank in. "Yami! Mokuba!" He called out to the house. He waited, dread sank in deeper. With the eerie silence that the house gave off, the dread made itself at home in his bones. Seto looked around the main room. Why aren't they here?! Seto thought angrily.

"Maybe Yugi found them?" Joey said, as he finally stood up.

Seto glanced at him. "We need to collect some things and pick a car…" Turning to look at them, "Why were you guys at the hospital?"

Mai smiled, "well…I'm a month pregnant."

"Under normal circumstances I would say congratulations." Seto left the room and grabbed some blankets, while Joey and Mai grabbed some food. Seto came back into the room, with some keys. "We will be taking Yami's jeep." Hearing a small beeping sound, Seto stopped. He looked at his laptop, he hurried over to it. "I have an e-mail from Yami!"

"What does it say!?" Joey hurried behind him.

"He has Mokuba, and he just told me where Duke is taking them." Standing up Seto sighed, "Come on." Seto lead them down to the parking garage, and over to the jeep. They climbed in. Seto whipped the jeep out of its parking spot. Speeding toward the exit Seto saw something that made him slam on his breaks. Skidding to a stop. Zombies were pouring into the garage. Seto's hands tightened on the stirring wheel, with his options being so limited he mumbled to himself. "I just bought this bumper…" He frowned, "well…let's see what it can take!" With nowhere else to go, Seto stomped on the gas petal. The jeep slammed into the zombies. Blood and rotting flesh splattered the car. Slipping the car into another gear, the car climbed over the fallen corpses creating sickening cracking, snapping and splatting sounds. Each crack made Seto's skin crawl, these were once people. The vehicle burst through the remaining heard, cracking the windshield. After agreeing to stop off at Joey and Mai's house to pick up additional items, Seto sped the jeep down the street, I'm coming Mokuba…Yami.

**&^*%&^

Duke sighed, "Yami, we have been here for a few days, I really don't think Kaiba Joey or Mai will be catching up to us. I…feel like we should move on."

Yami glanced up from his phone and frowned, "Just…one more day. I know they are coming."

Duke sighed, "Well, then can we at least run to the city to refresh our supplies?"

Nodding Yami said, "Yes."

Duke looked over at Bakura and Tristan, "I want you two to come with me."

Marik crossed his arms, "I'm going too!" The group moved to the moving van they found and piled in. Not noticing two stowaways hiding in the back. Mokuba and Yugi peaked out together. They shared a smile and remained quiet.

"After we go to the city we need to get Yami to let us move on…" Duke looked at Tristan as he started driving. "I feel that we are to closed to the city, we have all seen the zombie hoards that sometimes come for them. Who knows when that will happen at this city?"

Tristan sighed, "We did make him the leader."

Bakura made a sound, "Can we just finish this thing? I kind of want to get back to Yugi. Besides, without the pharaoh here I make the calls…"

They entered the dead city. Duke parked in an alley near a pharmacy. As Duke got out and gave the all clear, Duke said, "Okay, I will check the pharmacy out, Tristian and Bakura go over to the corner store. Yugi and Mokuba-"Duke blinked, and slowly looked at them. "MOKUBA AND YUGI?! What are you two doing here?"

Mokuba laughed, "We snuck into the back of the van while you guys were talking to Yami. We wanted to help, but we knew that Yami wouldn't let us go."

Bakura smirked, walking over to Yugi he said. "You're coming with me. Since there is two more of us than before, Yugi and I will head over to that department store. If I let you get hurt Yami will kill me."

"I've got Mokuba." Tristen said as he moved over to Mokuba.

Duke nodded and said, "Okay Marik. We have the pharmacy." The team agreed on a time to meet back at the car, they choose a channel for their walkie-talkies and split up.

Marik looked around the empty pharmacy. Grabbing whatever looked useful and dropping it into his bag. "They really cleaned this place out…Did you find anything?"

Duke jumped behind the counter, grabbing random bottles and reading about the pills inside. Frowning he answered, "Not really…but I did find some anti-biotic." Shifting through some other bottles he smiled, "OH! Morphine!"

"Really?!" Marik hurried over to him.

Smiling Duke said, "Let's go help Bakura and Yugi. That is a huge department store."

Tristen and Mokuba slowly entered the convent store. Tristen said, "We need to look for food. Of course, if you see anything that could be useful, take it."

Mokuba nodded, clutching his bat tightly he moved down an aisle. Finding that most of the items were gone. "Tristen!" He called out, "I'm not finding anything left." When he got no response Mokuba swallowed nervously. "T…Tristen?" He froze up as raspy breathing reached his ears. A zombie charged out at him, "T…Tristen!" The zombie ran to him, knocking him down before he could hit it with his bat. Using shaky arms, Mokuba kept his bat between himself and the zombie. The zombie was hung over Mokuba, desperately trying to bite him. The zombie's mouth was slowly starting to make its way to Mokuba's neck.

"Close your mouth and eyes Mokuba!"

Doing as he was told, Mokuba felt the zombie be knocked off of him. He scrambled to his feet shaking as Tristen used his ax to finish off the zombie.

"Hurry! We need to get back to the van!" Grabbing Mokuba's arm, Tristan almost dragged him out onto the street. Running to the van they discovered that it was surrounded. Tristan skidded to a stop as the hoard of zombies looked at them.

The walkie-talkie buzzed to life with Bakura's voice. "Hey! Hurry and get to the department store now! IF you don't hurry you will be killed."

Not needing to be told twice, Tristan picked Mokuba up and ran off toward the building. Mokuba looked over Tristan's shoulder, watching as the road began to fill with more corpses. Brining an odor of death and rotting with them. They could see Yugi waving at them from behind glass doors. Marik and Yugi moved quickly, holding open the doors long enough for Mokuba and Tristan to slip in. The pushed the doors closed and the four of them moved a shelf, manikins and other items laying around in front of the doors.

"T…this isn't much of a barricade…" Tristan panted. Turning to look at the other three he asked, "How did you know we were coming?"

Yugi said, "Follow me guys, Duke and Bakura are on the roof."

Duke and Bakura both frowned, the van was completely over run. Turning to the group as Yugi, Tristan and Mokuba reached the roof. Duke said, "I'm not sure when they will leave the van. We are stuck here until then."

"The radios don't work…" Bakura added before they could ask.

"So basically…they don't know we are trapped here?" Mokuba asked. At Bakura's frown, Mokuba sunk to the ground and mumbled. "Great…"

&*&*&*&*(

Two days had passed when Seto, Mai and Joey reached the edge of the city. Seto slowed his jeep down as he reached the city. "Something doesn't feel right…" he mummed to himself. There were military barriers, Government Issue armored trucks scattered around. Being wary, Seto slipped his jeep into for-wheel drive and took it off the highway.

"We are entering on foot?" Joey asked in disbelief.

"Something not right…Mai stay in the jeep unless we need help." Seto ordered. Mai sighed, but nodded. Making sure his gun was secure, Seto lead the way to the city. Seto and Joey slowly made their way, choosing to stay out of sight. He emerged through and ally-way. Walking onto the road he looked around, there were no signs or anything even indicting the fact that anything was safe. He wondered down the street looking at the buildings, many had broken windows. Most of the stores were bare. Cars were flipped over, and like the buildings, had broken windows while some had all their doors open and where stripped clean. Moving around a corner Seto and Joey froze, a group of zombies had been around a dog's body. Turning to look at Seto, and Joey, some began to slowly make their way to them. Seto blinked awake, he nudged Joey and with how slow the zombies were moving they simply backed away. Turning away from them Seto began to run, with Joey close behind. They easily out ran the zombies. They turned down another road, which was blocked by a small group of zombies. Easily taking out some with his gun, Seto noticed that they were being surrounded quickly. Seeing a moving van that was in simple reach, Seto jumped on top of it. Joey followed suit. Seto let a small grunt escape, the pain in his leg announced itself. The small heard of zombies encircled the van. Dumbly trying to claw their way to the top of the car.

"Seto! Joey! Hey!"

Whipping his head around at his name, he scanned the around the van when he locked onto a green body suit. "Yugi?!" Seto watched Yugi point above him. He followed Yugi's hand above his head and blinked. There was a fire escape that shouldn't be too hard for him to jump to.

"Hurry Seto!" Yugi kept calling to him.

Feeling some of the zombie's clammy hands grasping at his ankle he finally jumped at the metal railing. Barley grasping the bottom one with one hand. Wincing slightly as he pulled himself up completely. Seto looked back over to the heard of walkers.

"Move it Wheeler!" Seto snapped. Joey glared, but copied Seto and reached safety.

Standing and jumping over the side of the fire escape and landing safely behind a chain link fence. Yugi ran over and practically jumped on Joey "We thought you were dead!" Before Seto could answer, Yugi grabbed both Seto and Joey's wrists. He began to drag them. "Let's go, we need to hurry!" Yugi kept telling them to hurry. Seto glanced behind them. The chain link fence was down, with the walkers filing in after them. "We go up once again!" Yugi, Seto and Joey made their way quickly up the latter. Reaching top Seto once again felt himself flinch as he placed his weight onto his left leg. Yugi shot questions at them. Joey did his best to answer them as Seto kept quiet and subconsciously ran his hand over his left leg. Seto didn't realize how he made it this far, he must have blocked it out. Yugi smiled, "Let's go meet with the rest of the group!" Seto returned the smile and followed him. Pushing the pain in his leg to the back of his mind as they reached the rest of the group. "Guys!" Yugi called loudly.

Bakura turned from the ledge and sighed, "What took you so long?" Yugi just kept the smile on his face as Seto came around the corner. Bakura and Seto stared at each other for a moment. "Holly crap! You are alive!" Jumping up.

"Seto!" Running over to him, Mokuba grabbed him, hugging him tightly. He latched onto Seto and smiled brightly at him. Seto smiled at him, and without any form of warning he hugged Mokuba tightly. Mokuba's smiled turned soft as he easily returned the hug. "Seto how did you get into the city?"

Looking at Mokuba, Seto answered simply, "I walked." Feeling the rest of the groups' eyes on him, he continued. "I didn't think that it was safe to bring the car into town, besides. We left Mai with the jeep." He looked around, "Where's Yami?"

Bakura moving next to him stated, "Back at camp. That van you were standing on. It must come back with us. We have food and weapons in there. Along with other supplies. In fact Seto, the van itself is a supply. We found an old R.V. on our way here, but it need parts. Hence the van, we can modify the parts to work for the R.V."

Seto nodded in understanding and looked back over the city. "Guys I haven't really been awake enough to notice anything about them. What attracts the zombies?"

Mokuba sat next to him on the ledge. "We know that we smell alive to them. As I am sure you noticed, they stink. Sounds also attract them. We are doing all we can to not use guns around them. That is almost like a dinner bell. And fire is something they are interested in."

Duke spoke up, "Don't think about going underground, Bakura already tried that. It is invested."

Seto said, "They like sounds? Well, let's break into a car! Yugi, Bakura you're fast on your feet, see that sports car? Break into it. The alarm should sound and lead some of the walkers away. Duke, how about you and I stay up here and be cover? As we lead the zombies away from the building Marik and Tristan can make their way to the van and drive it to the loading docks. Then Mokuba, myself and Duke can go to the loading dock and get into the van." They group nodded. "Let's get moving before dark."

Everyone moved to their positions. Seto took out his gun and stood next to Duke. He felt Duke's eyes on him.

Using the one walkie-talkie that they had Duke asked, "Yugi, we are ready when you are."

"Roger." Yugi looked at the car, currently it was clear of all zombies. Yugi and Bakura moved a little closer to the car, they knew that speed was everything here. The second that Duke broke the glass the alarm would sound, giving them only a few minutes to get in. Duke aimed his gun at the car's window. The gun hit its mark perfectly, shattering the glass and the alarm started blaring. Yugi and Bakura slipped into the car as Seto took out two walkers that had been on top them. Duke and Seto kept them covered as Bakura hotwired the car. The engine roared to life loudly. With the combination of the car's loud exhaust and engine, the walkers from the front of the department store and the loading bay began moving towards the car. The moving van also began to clear as Yugi kept the car just out of the walker's reach. Tristan and Marik emerged from their hiding place and moved to the van. Tristan hopped into the back of the van as Marik started it up. The van started for its destination. Duke led the way through the store.

Duke rushed them though the store to where the van was waiting. The van was backed to the doors, Tristan opened the van's doors and banged onto the loading dock doors. The three of them piled into the back and as soon as the van's doors closed, Marik took off. Settling into the back of the van, Mokuba attached himself to Seto's side as Tristan joined Bakura up front. Duke and Joey sat across from Seto and Mokuba.

Looking at Duke Seto asked, "Yami let Mokuba come?"

Duke smirked, "Of course not, Yugi and Mokuba snuck into the back of this van and hid from us. They wanted to help."

Seto gave Mokuba look, then looked back at Duke. "I'm guessing Yami is calling the shots."

Duke sighed, "Well…we kind of…he took charge after we made some dumb mistakes. Yugi had almost been bitten a few days ago. And at the same time we lost two of our group."

Seto blinked at him, "You all seem to be alive a well." He told Marik where his jeep was. The van was parked on the side of the road as Yugi and Bakura pulled over in the sports car. Bakura hopped out and unplugged the battery to get the alarm to stop blaring.

"Let's get what we can from this car." Bakura said as he started taking parts out from under the hood. Mai moved the jeep out of the ditch. Moving over to the van Bakura said, "We will lead you to the camp." Nodding Seto got into the jeep, and followed the van down the road.

&*&(*&*(&

Yami stood on the R.V. staring out with at the road leading to the city. He would have to follow them into the city if they weren't back that night. Tea, Serenity looked up at Yami.

"Anything Yami?"

Yami sighed shaking his head, "No…" He froze. "Wait! Cars! I see two cars!" Yami blinked, he looked at the second car. It looked just like his jeep. Yami hurried off the R.V. "T…that's my jeep."

The two cars came to a stop and Yugi smiled brightly as he jumped out of a car. "Look who found us in the city!" Joey, Mai and Seto got out of the jeep. Yami stared at Seto as he calming walked over to the group.

Yami hurried over to Seto, "You're al-"he was cut off as Seto grabbed his waist kissed him. Seto pulled Yami tight against him and buried his face against his neck. Yami smiled and held onto him. Mokuba and Yugi shared a smile as Joey coughed.

Smiling Yami slowly let go of Seto and hugged both Joey and Mai, "Did you three leave the hospital together?"

Moving to stand next to Yami and placing his hand on his lower back, "Yes, we ran into each other while I was making my escape."

"Sorry to interrupt guys, but I think we need to decide if we are going to find another camp site." Duke said as he crossed his arms. "As we all know random herds of zombies can come from that city at any time…"

Yami nodded, "I do agree with you Duke. However it's almost night, so let's get a fire going and we can discuss it further. I don't think it's safe to leave this late." He looked at Tea and Tristan, "Please do a check on our boarder. Take one person with you, this way no one goes alone." Yami smiled at Seto, "Let's go help them check the boarder." Each of the pairs moved off in different directions.

Moving farther away from the camp Seto gripped Yami's shoulders and pushed him against a tree. Kissing him soundly he smirked against Yami's lips. "You planed this well."

Yami kept his eye's locked on Seto's as he wrapped his arms around his neck. "We don't have long." Seto smirked and contently closed this difference.

*(&(*&^*^*&

Yami and Seto rejoined the group a short time later, taking their seats around the fire Duke said sarcastically. "Thank you for joining us."

Seto sent him a death glare as Yami smiled pleasantly. "Well, let's talk. Is all of our supplies packed into our cars?" Duke nodded, and Yami continued. "There is 12 of us…so it might be a little unconfutable, but let's have some of us stay in the R.V. obviously most of us will have to use tents. I would like us to be able to leave by noon tomorrow."

The group nodded as Seto said, "So, what kind of weapons do you all have?"

Bakura looked at him, "well, shortly before I ran into them I had raided a specialty weapon store. That's how I got my sword. I grabbed random guns and ammo. There wasn't much to choose from. I found a 9mm, a basic revolver and a shot gun. I have plenty of ammo. Most of the people before me didn't take the knifes. So we have a machete and some basic hunting knifes. I don't know who all knows how to use a gun. Yami and I would rather not. We are perfectly capable using our swords."

Seto nodded, "I figured as much. Well, Mokuba and I can use guns. It was my head of security's idea to teach us how to use them. So this means that we currently have two 9mm. I would rather all of us know how to defend yourselves. I feel that we should leave a little later, since we don't have a set destination."

Yami blinked, mildly surprised at Seto. "Well…alright. If you two really don't mind teaching them."

Crossing his arms Seto stated, "This includes you too."

Yami gave him a shocked look which turned into a glare. "I don't need to learn how to shoot one of thought things!"

Both glaring at each other Seto stated again, "You don't get a choice."

Yami huffed and turned to the others, "We have a long day tomorrow. Bakura, you have first watch." After listing off the order of the watch Yami added, "We have training first thing tomorrow morning."
