Freedom
In the black of night
No sound disturbs the silence
You can look forward to the light
And pray tomorrow won't bring violence
When you can really feel
Like there's hope in the world
Dream of anything that isn't real
Lie in safety, arms wrapped round your body – curled
Tell yourself by morning
When light fills the rooms
Birds sing and stop you yawning
Maybe things will change before the darkness looms
Today you'll get your life back
Today you'll get your say
Today you can leave, pick a bag and pack
Today those who've done you wrong will pay
Authors Note
Bella and Edward's story in a poem:
Stanza 1: Bella during Twilight when James is looking for her
Stanza 2: Bella at the start of New Moon after losing Edward
Stanza 3: Bella at the end of New Moon after getting Edward back and worrying he won't stay, she wants things back to normal
Stanza 4: Edward in Eclipse preparing to go after Victoria
Just thought I'd attempt another poem, let me know what you think! Thanks for reading! :-) (coolbeaniostwilightrules7)
