"So you can bend spoons with psychic energy, huh?" Charlie asked the young, blonde man, named Harry, sitting near him at the bullpen, with doubt. The latter had been a witness to a crime that the professor was helping the team solve.

"That's my prefered method"

"I see..."

"You don't seem very sympathetic." the younger man frowned.

"Can you do anything else with spoons besides bend them?" Larry joined in the conversation.

"I can do anything with spoons. Give me a spoon, and I'll give you the world!"

"That's quite a claim..." Charlie said dryly. He hated people who took advantage of others.

"Could you give us a demonstration?" Larry wanted to prove that it was possilbe for a person to move things with his or her mind.

"I'm not a freak, ya know!" Harry frowned.

"I never said that..." Larry gently said.

"People say that I'm like a circus freak...I can hear them yelling 'Freak! as I walk down the street!'

"I'm sorry to hear that" the physicist remarked.

"here's the spoon" Charlie gave it to him. "Show us!"

Deftly, the young man bent it, but with his hands.

"as you can see...the spoon is bent."

"That is true" A part of Larry was disapointed.

"Of course it is! I bent the spoon!" harry said harshly, then apologized "Sorry I snapped, I've bent too many spoons today, and I'm tired.

"How many have you bent?"

"Four"

"Four?" Larry repeated.

"I'm not a circus freak, I'm a human being!!!"

"You know...it kinda looked like you bent the spoon with your hands" the older professor remarked.

"What? The spoon is bent isn't it?"

"Are you sure it's not 'Fraud' people yell at you on the streets?" Charlie snorted.

"The psychic energy goes through my hands!" the younger man insisted.

"I can bend a spoon with my hands!" Charlie pointed out.

"I never claimed that my power was unique!" Harry retorted.

Before things could get heated, Don intervened, and separated the witness from the two professors.

The End.

a/n: This oneshot was a take off of the spoonbender sketch from A bit of Fry and Laurie. Thanks to youtube, I've gotten to see bits of that fine show and wish that BBC America or a public station would broadcast it.
