this chapter is kind of a background into the past...i'm not very good at this writting lark...so please be honest :-)

When Noah Pukerman was 8 years old but he had enough attitude to outwit any teenager twice his age.

When Rachel Berry was 8 years old and she had enough power of speech to put anyone twice her age into place.

The two had been friends for as long as they could remember. There was the Sunday dinners there parents would take it turns to host, there was the weekly visits to the temple.

and with that Rachel got on a bike for the first time and realised...it was fun..

They shared everything. Rachel took on Noah's Sister as her own.

After Noah's dad left he gained Rachel's dad's meaning he had two dads' which didn't bother him at all.

Noah wouldn't admit to anyone Rachel had taught him the notes for music

Rachel wouldn't admit to anyone Noah taught her how to play football

See that's how it worked…yes they were friends ...maybe even best of friends but ever since that tender age of just 8…it was just them , no one at school would know and certainly no one with any popularity.

As they grew older the moments they loved to share got harder and harder until , the Sunday dinners were the only time they saw each other and after a while he even stopped coming to them . Noah or Puck as he now liked to be called would be to busy with Football or girls and Rachel she would be doing dance lessons and although shed never admit it. She would have skipped one if it meant just a few hours with her childhood best friend

High school was even harder, Rachel joined Glee and that's when the slushies began. He didn't want to do it and she understood that, not saying a word after the cold ice hit her face but just looking at the sudden sorrow in his was enough to know.

When Noah joined Glee she thought it would mean that could put things behind them and continue the childhood they shared…..

But could they?
