This is an early story idea when I was thinking how mega stones come into existence and I thought "why cannot humans mega evolve?" This is when I decided to post a little story, just showing the basis of what my idea is. I don't know if this is going to become a full blown story just yet, and if it is my main story "The One Wonder" will be my main focus for now since the story is much further developed then this one. But anyway, let me know your thoughts on it and don't be afraid to give me ideas for a potential plot from the basis of it I come up with. But anyway, here it is Enjoy!
Chapter 1: Xerneas and Yveltal's Unknown Powers
Had you ever wanted to know the mystery to a megastone and a keystone and how they come it existence. Well, you are in luck, as I am one of the very few who knows the answer to this mystery.
Both stones only exist in kalos only, for a very particular reason. The transformation of a stone naturally takes thousands to a million of years and can only happen if the conditions are exact. It all starts with death. A Pokemon dies and is buried underground by either humans or nature itself. But it cannot be anywhere. It can only be buried by a place where yveltal used oblivion wing to suck all the life off the land. See when a Pokemon dies by natural causes, it doesn't turn like stone. Being turned to stone means that they no longer have any life but if they die naturally they have a tiny bit of that lifeforce left that makes this process special in this area. When xerneas one day revives the bare land, underground the life is also revitalized. No, the Pokemon would not come to life as xerneas can only revive anyone from yveltals causes but something amazing happens. With what is left in the Pokemons lifeforce and also xerneas power suddenly starts compacting together in the same ways diamonds are made and then, the corpse is transformed into Megastone ore. The same Process goes for humans as it transforms a human corpse into keystone ore...but doesn't affect humans at all. When a Pokemon mega evolves the previous pokemon, comes back to life temporarily and gives the Pokemon power when a keystone only activates the megastone and does nothing to the human. So the question is "can humans mega evolve?"
The answer is, yes but having one of those stones are very rare. Someday, xerneas knew that yveltal power is going to be strong for even both xerneas and zygarde to handle. Xerneas created 10 special megastones call mysticstones for humans to use if that day to ever to come. If a human would to use it, they become a Pokemon temporarily and able to turn back and forth between the two. Every mysticstones is a one of a kind having the power from 10 different mystical Pokemon, to aid Xerneas in his battle one day….and it turns out the day is fastly approaching.
So a trainer named Kris is on the hunt for every Possible mega stone for her collection when she stumbled into a place of ruin where one of those 10 mysticstones were hidden from the world, and when she touches it, it would change her life forever.
