Another short poem with a cheesy title. Please read and review!
A smile my way,
A
nod, and a glimpse
Of your true nature,
Beyond the cold pose
you put yourself in.
And makes me grin too,
To remember of our
secret meetings,
Always private, away from judging eyes.
You
slip me a note in the mission room,
Along with your late
report.
When you think no one's looking,
And your fingertips
brush against mine,
Making me blush along my scar.
The note,
written in your chicken-scratch
I've grown so accustomed to,
To
leave the window open for you tonight...
Valentine's Day.
I
fall asleep on the couch,
Waiting for you, but it's been a long
day.
Your intense gaze is the first thing I see
When I
reawaken,
The second is that fact you have your mask off.
I
gasp, you smirk
And steal what you've been wanting all day;
A
kiss.
In my embarrassed state, you murmer cooly in my ear,
"Happy
Valentine's Day, Iruka-sensei"
