I Had A Dream… I Had A Dream…

Chapter One:

It was a Friday night, I went to bed and all was bliss… When I woke up, I found myself in a barren land with only a few houses, and barely any greenery. I thought too myself, "where's my bed? Where's my house?"

A voice piped up and made me jump, "What are you? Where are you from?" I looked around for the source of the voice, when a very loud "OI interrupted me! Down here!"

I looked down, and to my surprise I saw a hobbit- some of you might call it a halfling- staring at me and repeating itself, "What are you? Where are you from?"

"I'm not deaf you know. I'm a human, a tall-man, bigguns' whatever you call me in this world. I am from a place called earth, in a galaxy called the Milky Way. Where am I?" I replied.

"Well, it used to be a place called The Big Earthun, but now… Who knows?" the hobbit replied.

Of course I didn't know its name, so I asked it. "Stubbuns. What's yours?" Came the short reply.

"Matt. Matt Freeman." I answered. It sounded strange, me explaining my name to a hobbit. "What happened here?" Of course I wanted to know.

"A war. A big one." Stubbuns replied, with a pained expression on its face.

"Are you a boy or a girl?" I needed to know; else it was going to drive me mad. "I cant' tell."

"Boy." He sounded offended. Oops, I couldn't thinking to myself. "I really should be asking you the same question."

"Male. If you want to check I'll pull my trousers down." That will shut him up, was the obvious thought. I was wrong.

"I will take 'male' as 'boy', and you don't need to pull your trousers down, I believe you." Came the reply. Sweet came a thought in my mind.

Jut then I realised a smell wafting up from Stubbuns' feet, and I couldn't help thinking, Smelly little rat.

A few seconds after that thought came to mind; an unwanted and unknown thought came into my head, same to you stinky. I was totally baffled, and thought, who are you?

"Three guesses."

"Stubbuns?"

"Wow you didn't even need three guesses, Genius."

"How-," I didn't finish that thought as a screech ripped the silence, making me jump out my skin. "What the he-"

"Nazgullians." He saw my confused look and explained more, "You might call them dragons. Anyway, that was probably only a scout, not very powerful, but if we wait here we might have a whole pack down on us. We had better make cover. Up a Tree or something if possible." A howl came just as Stubbuns finished speaking.

"W…w…w…w…w…w…w…hat was that?!" I practically yelled.

"Dæmons, they can't climb trees, hence why we need to get up a STURDY tree if possible, but not to bare or high," He said. "Come on, or do you want to stay out here and let them get you?" He started trundling off, leaving me where I was standing.

"Hey, wait up, wait for me!"

Chapter Two:

We waited until morning, as the ground was seeming with Dæmons, the air crowed with Nazgullians, we had to wait 'till morning because that's when all those kind of monsters go to sleep, said Stubbuns, but others come out.
