AN: Hey, y'all, so I felt like I should post something but it has been forever since I have posted something. So here is a one-shot featuring my favorite pairing, Rory & Tristan. This is a one-shot but I am thinking about making a story tied to this one-shot, however, I don't know yet. Thanks for reading, don't forget to review and favorite.
DON'T FORGET, I created an Instagram page: JuJuB7FanFic_, I will be posting about my stories and cover photos and will be holding contests related to my stories. I would really appreciate it if you guys would follow my page. It would mean the world to me. Thanks, JuJuB7
Lollipop
One-Shot
Rory walks into the house, she is taken aback by how quiet the house is. Normally when she comes home, the house is loud, toys are everywhere. However today is different, loud isn't loud and all of her son's toys are picked up and put away. She knows that her husband and son are home. His car is in the driveway so she doesn't understand why the house is as quiet as it is. She places her bags next to the door and takes her heels off before she hears the wailing coming from the kitchen. She quickly rushes to the kitchen, there she sees her husband hugging their son in his arms while pacing back and forth. She doesn't know what happened but her son is pretty distraught about it.
"What happened?" Rory asks, walking over to the pair.
"I didn't mean it momma," The little boy cries. "I weally didn't mean it."
"Colby," Her husband says. "I already told that it was okay. It was just an accident. Daddy forgives you. I know you didn't mean to stick a lollipop in my hair."
Sure enough, when Rory looks at her husband's hair, she can see the lollipop sticking out of it. She can't help but chuckle a little. Then she straightens herself and takes Colby from his father's arms, placing him on her hip. He instantly places his tired little head on her shoulder. She can see how tired he looks, he must be from all the crying he has been doing.
"Colby, why don't we get you to bed for your nap," Rory suggests.
Colby doesn't respond, she looks down to see that Colby has already fallen asleep. She looks at her husband and together they go to the little boy's room, tucking him in. each of them places a kiss on the little boy's head before leaving the room. The couple walks back into the kitchen. Rory looks at her husband's hair, looking for any way to take the lollipop out without having to cut his hair, but she doesn't find a way. She sighs as her face falls, her husband already knows that he is going to have to cut his hair. He also sighs, leaning back against the counter. He grabs his wife's hand and leads her to the table where he sits in one of the kitchen chairs. Rory sits on her husband's lap, wrapping her arms around his neck while he wraps his arms around her waist.
"You know you are going to have to cut your hair," Rory says, carefully running her hand through his long blonde locks.
"I know, but I don't really care what my hair looks like," He pauses. "As long as I'm with my wife and son, it is all worth it, Mary."
"Completely worth it," Rory whispers, placing her forehead against her husband's.
"Completely," Tristan whispers back before connecting their lips.
Yes, having a lollipop stuck in his head was completely worth it because as he said, he is with his wife and son and they mean everything to him.
