I have been a fan of Transformers Rescue Bots since first watching it on TV and it might be my fave Transformers show ever (can't beleive I am saying that despite it not having Starscream my fave Decepticon). I decided to do this crossover with my fave character from Rescue Bots, Cody and Miko from Prime. Cody is about 13 (maybe aged up a bit like what happened between seasons 3 and 4) here and Miko 15.
Miko Nakadai was excited when Optimus Prime and Agent Fowler told them about the secret Rescue Bots program that had set up on an island called Griffin Rock and invited them to visit and see the Autobot Rescue Bots there along with her friends Rafael and Jack. With their parents' permission they were allowed to go. Optimus and Bumblebee had said they met the humans and Rescue Bots involved and thought they would get along fine.
They were introduced to the Burns Family who handled the Rescue Bots program on Griffin Rock (knowing they were aliens unlike the public on the island who just thought they were advanced transforming robots). Miko was now spending time with the blonde haired youngest of the family, Cody who the Rescue Bots considered their liaison in this mission.
"Thanks for the ride Heatwave." Cody told Heatwave the fire truck Rescue Bots as well as their leader handpicked by Optimus himself. Cody and Miko decided to hang out together and Heatwave said he would drop them off.
"I can't believe your family and the Rescue Bots lets you take part in communications, I would kill for the Autobots and Agent Fowler to let us take more active part in their thing with the Decepticons." Miko said looking a bit excited and jealous at the same time.
Cody laughed and said "still I still get treated as the youngest of the team as it's not as active as physically taking part, so your friends actually know of evil Cybertronians?" Cody asked and Miko told them about the ones she knew of. "Noble, we had Doctor Morocco as our arch enemy but he is not really around anymore." Cody told her as they kept sharing stories as they went to the cafe and eat on the tables outside.
"Cody, you should one day come and meet the rest of the Autobots, I bet Bulkhead would love to meet you." Miko said excitedly as she was talking to her new friend and Cody knew that Heatwave wished he was a part of the main Autobots team.
As they talked Cody felt it was like talking to his best friend Frankie only a bit different and Miko was thinking of how cool Cody's life was and how cute he was. Cody noticed Evan and Myles the two troublemakers of the island doing community service for their latest theft. "Cody nice you have a girlfriend, please let your dad know we are behaving during this." Myles shouted as he and his brother went back to their community service.
Cody and Miko noticed their hands were touching on the table and they got them back and they blushed. Unknown to them spying from the air was Cody's sister Dani in the cockpit of her partner the helicopter Rescue Bot Blades. "Why are we spying on them again?" Blades asked wondering why Dani insisted on spying on her brother and her friend.
"Blades look trust me on this, I think I saw something between them and though he might not call it that, I want to make sure Cody's first date is a success." Dani told him with a smile and Blades thought about the romantic movies he had seen since coming to Earth. Dani figured she would be the best for Cody to get romantic advice from since the only other option besides their dad Chief Burns was Kade (the only other one with a girlfriend in Hayley) but he was never going to be the best person to get this type of advice from.
Despite that Miko and Cody continued to talk with them making some arrangements for them to keep in contact after Miko goes home like trade emails or video calls. A friendship had planted its seeds that it might become something more.
