A short KakaIru poem based on an old custom of my family. Yes, the title and poem are both a bit cheesy but I hope you like it! Please review!

They say that when Spring comes
The first thing one does
Is whisper your greatest secret to the flowers
And they'd keep it safe until the Winter hours...
At least, that what I heard from a chuunin.

Of course, I scoffed the idea as one of a child's
But he took with a light hearted smile,
"Well, all jounin act like kids, don't they?"
"Touché' I replied simply.
He got up, paid for the ramen and left.

One day, March the 28th, walking to the training ground
In the field I saw him now,
Hunched over saying something I could not hear
And I knew he suspected no one was near.
So like a chuunin.

So, as any good ninja would do
I snuck in for a closer view
And heard him whisper soft and low
"I'm in love with a scarecrow"
Before he got up to go teach his class.

Of course this made me grin
And I crouched down lower to begin
With a secret I was about to share,
(Only because it seemed fair)
"I'm in love with a dolphin."

And with that, I made my way
To where is team has been waiting all day.
Thinking back now, all I can say
(Without a doubt or sway)
I can't wait until Winter.
