The Hope Strategy
Aqua liked to watch Ventus and Terra interact. It was something she'd started one day, just observing, and it soon turned routine. She liked to watch them, and think, and dream. She'd dream of the sky she could see out of her room's balcony at night and sigh.
There was something out there, in that sky so full of bright worlds. Aqua knew, watching Terra and Ventus, that when the time came they would be able to chase those pinpricks of destiny together. When she and Terra finally passed their Mark of Mastery Exams they would leave, all three of them, to find the place they belonged.
Aqua liked to watch Ventus and Terra, one so young, and the other so strong, and she knew that nothing would keep her from doing all she could to protect what they had. If there was an obstacle ahead, then there would always be someone behind, pushing the other two forward.
One day, nothing would hold them back. Then they could truly be together, and everything would be right.
