Gajeel x Levy

This wasn't how it was suppose to go.

This isn't how this should've happened.

He wasn't suppose to...

He wasn't suppose to...

Levy broke down into sobs as she lingered over Gajeel's bloody body. She didn't know what to do. He was going to die.

Blood tricked from the corner of his mouth as the Iron dragon slayer's red eyes dragged itself over to Levy's figure that was shaking in tears.

"Don't cry, Shrimp." his hoarse voice raked over her hearing, causing the petite mage to look up at her companion with tear soaked eyes.

"G-Gajeel!" She cried out in surprise, reaching out to touch the side of his face as if he was a ghost.

"You've got better things to do than get all depressed." He said, a soft smirk curling onto his face.

"Gajeel. No, stay with me. Lily went to get help. Don't die. Please don't die." Levy said desperately, placing both of her hands onto the mans face. Tears were starting to fall down her face again and onto the man's bleeding chest. "We're going to get Wendy and shes going to heal you. Just please, don't die."

"Sorry, Shrimp." he rasped, his red eyes still watching her.

Her body was shaking again. Tears streaming down her face as she reached up and kissed him on the cheek. "Gajeel...don't leave me...please..."

Weak arms lifted up and wrapped themselves around Levy's body. The blue haired girl didn't mind the blood that soaked into her clothing as she was suddenly pulled into a very weak hug. "Don't cry, Levy, everything is going to be alright."

Levy shook her head, trying to bury herself into his body as if that would stop him from bleeding to death.

This wasn't suppose to happen...

,but yet it did.

By the time Lily had returned with Wendy and others, Levy was only hugging a corpse of a man.

A man she used to love.

I was looking through Google pictures again and this triggered me to write another short drabble.
