Notes- I came up with this on a Sunday morning around 12:40am. I had actually asked for my lil' bro's help in coming up with a title/theme for and one suggested "starfish on the beach" which I simplified to "starfish."
They walked, hand-in-hand, down the beach at twilight. Darkness was the only time they could be together- and they took advantage of every moment of the night.
They lay in the soft sand and held each other for a long while after that, and no one but the stars and the starfish knew they were there, together, lovers.
They preffered it this way, really. It was better than answering all those questions and facing all those odd looks.
Better, certainly, than letting her down.
The stars and the starfish knew, but they weren't too likely to tell anyone.
