Hermione rushes towards Remus and he grabs on to her for dear life .
"We did it," she yelled in excitement.
"No," he pulled her away for just a moment to look at her directly in her soft Carmel colored eyes. "You did it."
"I couldn't have done it without all of you." She said glancing around at the group of friends minus a few people.
James and Lilly smiled as they held their infant son Harry, Sirius held on to his goddaughter Melody , who belonged to Hermione and Remus. Peter was there too, but only because she had changed something.
Reg severus were still getting tended by madam pompfrey and will be joining them soon, but something told Hermione they were going to make it there in time.
She could see Fabian and Gideon coming up over the hill. All her future changed because of this family with her. Her family, she didn't know that several years today would come to this.
When she started this journey at 14 years old scared and alone. She was glad she became friends with them. They made her the wonderful women she was today and will be in her future.
"There's no time there not going to make it." Hermione told the group. She grabbed her daughter from Sirius arms and held her tightly whispering things and I love yous into her ear.
Remus hugged them both from behind. Someone snapped a photo.
"Thanks Sirius." She heard Remus say.
"your welcome." Hermione rolled her eyes at them.
"You'll see me again even Melody will. Although she may not know it. Her mother will always be there to guide and love her. And to all of I won't forget a thing. When the timing is right I will Remer and u will come back to you all."
" Yeah but you'll be like 14 and we would be like 40." James said. It was the first words he has spoken all night since the end of the battle. Which she could understand. Lilly was quiet too.
"hey, I'll be back prank in with lot of you in no time."
"We know," Lilly said quietly. "we're just gonna miss you is all." They gathered around for a group hug and Hermione could now see Reg and Sev coming up the hill, but she had no time left.
She slipped three notes into Remus pocket and then her locket he gave her for her sixteenth birthday.
"Thank you."
"for what?" Remus asked her.
"For being you." She kissed him hard and full on the mouth. When they finally pulled apart Hermione was already fading. She quickly handed Melody to Remus and waved at severus and Reg goodbye, before completely fading away.
Hermione turned to Melody and Harry.
"Come on you lot, let's head to bed early tonight." Hermione, Harry, and Melody were all sixteen now and the best of friends along with Ron. Ron opted out of this study session. They were about to leave when Hermione spotted someone hiding in the selves.
"You two go on ahead, I'll be right up." She knew it was stupid, but she had a feeling it was him.
"Remus?"She called out. He came out of hiding and hugged her. "You have done so well with her. I'm so proud of you, the both of you. We will tell her on her seventeenth birthday."
"I love you."
"As do I,"
