Emmett stays behind for Bella and they find themselves falling in love with each other. Now it is 250 years later. What will happen? When paths cross again…
Prologue
"You are not leaving her", Emmett growls at everyone
"Yes we are. She needs to have a normal life", Edward growls
"She deserves more. Then us leaving", Emmett says
"Emmett WE are leaving now", Rosalie says grabbing his arm
Emmett shakes it off.
"You can all go. But I am staying", Emmett says
"Emmett you can't leave me", Rosalie cries
"Watch me. Know what you are doing is wrong", Emmett says sitting down
"Come on let's get going", Carlisle says not looking at his son
They all leave and Emmett puts his head in his hands. They couldn't leave her. He couldn't leave her. He didn't know what he was feeling. But he was going to find her. And stay with her to make sure she was alright. His mobile rings and Emmett crushes it in his hand. He wanted nothing to do with his Family so this was it. He was going to stay and take care of Bella. For Eternity if that was what she wanted. He would have to go see her and explain. Hopefully she would listen to him.
Emmett runs all the way to the Swan house. It was late and he hoped Bella would be there. He jumps up into her room. Bella was curled up in the fetal position on her bed crying.
"Bells?" Emmett asks softly
Bella looks up with red-rimmed eyes.
"Emmy?" she says hoarsely
"Yes it's me come here", Emmett says scooping her up
She hangs on to him tightly and cries for what she lost. Little did she know what she had gained…
