May I Have This Dance?
A/N: Please review if you like or if you think I may improve it somehow. Basically there is a school dance and mayhem insues. Enjoy!

Confession
"…So, you want to go with me?"
"Hmm… Let me think… NO!!!" Bam hit in the head, again, and down he goes, again.
'Naruto-kun… why do you always go after Sakura-chan even though she hits you? Why do you never notice me? Why?'
"Yo, Hinata!" Tenten called, arms waving. Hinata snapped back to reality. (Personally, Tenten needs to stop hanging out with Lee so much. He's starting to rub off.) Hinata turned around as Tenten drew near, "Hey, Hinata. Whatcha doin'?"
"Te-tenten-chan, yo." Hinata greeted Tenten, "Uh, no-nothing." She said and looked away.
Tenten followed Hinata's gaze, Naruto. Hinata was a true romantic. That's why she needed her, "Hinata, uh, I need your help. It's about the dance…"
"No of-f-fense, Tenten-chan, b-but I'm really n-not the person… I d-don't know a-about guys… You sh-should ask I-ino-chan, n-not…
I'm sorry." Hinata stuttered hurriedly, waving her hands defensively in front of her. She then looked down and promptly blushed.
"What? No, that's not it… I, uh…" Tenten leaned in towards Hinata and whispered the next part, "I can't dance and I, um, heard Hyuugas were taught to. So I was wondering if you could, you know, teach me?" Tenten blushed slightly.
Everything was silent, except for Naruto getting up, the shops, the kids, Tsunade-sama yelling about bills, the animals… So maybe it wasn't silent, but it was tense, very tense. It was that way for a while.
Hinata blinked, "Why ask m-me when Neji nii-san is o-on your team? I'm s-sure he would be h-happy to help." Tenten looked down, "Not that I'm not!" Hinata added quickly, hoping she hadn't offended Tenten.
"It's not that, it's, uh, well... (please don't freak out)... He's sorta, kinda, like, my date... maybe."
Realization
Hinata and Tenten had been friends for years. They were the best of friends.
Literally, no joke.
Konohagakure had a "Best __" survey thing. They asked citizens who they thought was the best whatever. Like, "Best Looking" Sasuke, "Best Animal Companion" Akamaru. Well Tenhina (yeah, they have a couple name and everything) had won "Best Friends" for the past 5 years straight.
They even won in Sunagakure.
But never before had Hinata known exactly how Tenten felt towards her cousin, Hyuuga Neji.
This is exactly what Hinata thought in the two seconds between Tenten talking and her own response:
'Oh my God.
Tenten likes Neji.
If he likes her back they would go on a date.
If they go on a date they would become boyfriend, girlfriend.
If they became boyfriend, girlfriend they would get engaged.
If they got engaged they would get married.
If they got married Tenten would be a Hyuuga.
If Tenten was a Hyuuga we would be related.
If we were related Tenten would be my sister.
Oh my God.
But what if Neji doesn't like her back...?
No. I'm not letting that happen.'
"I'll do it."
