A/N: Woah, two stories in one day. Oh and don't forget to leave me a review! ;)
Disclaimer: No, I don't own Percy Jackson.
Once upon a time, there lived a girl, a sad, sad girl because she doesn't like her mother (who drinks a lot) and her father abadoned her (because he was a god and gods don't stay) since she was young. So to get away from everything; her mother, especially, she ran away.
Lost and hungry after a few days, she sat on a bench and watched the children play in the swings. Parents wondered who she was and warned their children to stay away from her. Suddenly, a boy – tall, with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes (pretty, pretty blue eyes) – approached her.
''Hello,'' he said, smiling.
''Hi,''
''What's your name?'' She looked up, blue eyes meets another pair of blue eyes, could she trust him? Or will he tell his parents he found a missing child and worse, report her to the police?
He could see her struggling to tell her name so he sat down beside her.
''My name is Luke Castellan, and I am running away too,''
''I'm Thalia, Thalia Grace,'' he hold out his hand and she shook it.
And on that day, our princess made a new friend – but she didn't know he will tear the world apart, years later.
She was happy. Luke made her happy and so did little Annabeth whom they found days later, a runaway too.
They were a family – Luke said – and she was the mother, he was the father and Annabeth was the child. And she smiled; she liked this family much, much better than her real one. (because Luke doesn't abandoned her and Annabeth doesn't drink)
The princess was finally saved by her prince charming who goes by the name Luke Castellan. He kissed her once under the stars (and it was her best first kiss) and they did everything together.
But not all stories have happy endings.
The prince was devastated, for his princess had turned into a tree and nothing could change her back. (and he wish he could just kiss it and it will magically bring her back but sadly, this isn't a fairytale, it is only a sad love story).
So every day, he will sit under the tree, whispers 'I miss you' or tell stories about the Camp.
He was lonely; despite having friends at Camp but he wanted his princess again.
And so it began. The dreams, the plan to bring down Olympus, the revenge because after all, he only did it for Thalia.
The princess felt betrayed. How could him – her prince – betrayed her? She cried that night and it was all because of him, him and him.
She wanted to scream and run, run far, far away to the land where there isn't heartbreak or sadness and she could live her life happily ever after. (but this isn't a fairytale)
Because she couldn't take it anymore, how could someone she loved hurt her?
And she realised that maybe, maybe, Luke didn't love her, at all.
So with that thought in her mind, she slept with a broken heart.
''Ethan. Me. All the unclaimed. Don't let it...Don't let it happen again,''
''I won't, I promise,'' Percy said. He nodded and let his hands slip. He closed his eyes and he could only remember one name:
Thalia.
He wanted to say 'I love you' but it was too late. She was somewhere, too far to reach and he's dying and in a few second, he will die.
As he blew his last breath, he muttered a word, so quiet no one could hear.
Thalia.
And so this is the end of our story. Our prince and princess didn't get their happy ever after instead, our prince died a hero's death and our princess chose to become immortal.
It is sad to believe that they start their story with a happy beginning but ended with a sad ending. And I hope that you will not forget this tale, a story about a princess and a prince who simply made the wrong choices.
