When Marina chose to travel to Arendelle to see her friends Elsa and Anna for a holiday, the idea thrilled her. Now, the elation was coupled with dread as the ship that Marina was on rocked back and forth. Ever since she was a little girl, she'd always been prone to fits of seasickness and this voyage was no exception.

Captain Holstrom who had been observing the young princess' distress finally approached her. He laid a hand on her shoulder and shook his head.

"I'm so sorry, your Highness. I wish this voyage wasn't so uneasy."

Marina was able to stop her retching and faced Holstrom, trying to give him what her mother often referred to as "a royal smile," even though she was sure it looked very fake.

"Oh, it's not your fault, Captain. I shouldn't have eaten so much before we sailed."

"If you'd like to rest in my cabin-"

"I can't do that, I promised Elsa and Anna in my letter that I would be on deck when I arrived. We're too close now."

"I remember the queen and her sister when they would visit Portsnad as children. It was a pity when the visits stopped."

"I know." Marina sighed.

Marina understood why Elsa and Anna stopped coming to her parents' kingdom. Elsa's mother and father were worried that Elsa's "curse" of creating ice and snow would accidentally result in someone getting hurt. Because of this, whenever Marina made the rare trips to Arendelle, she would only see Anna. Now that Elsa had finally come to accept her powers and had taken control of Arendelle, she'd gone back to being the old Elsa and Marina couldn't have been happier, even if the last nine years they had spent apart had taken away the closeness they had as kids.

"Land ho!"

Marina looked up and saw Arendelle, just as beautiful and majestic as she remembered. As she stood, her legs began to wobble; but she quickly regained her footing when she saw Elsa and Anna standing and waiting for her, waving. Once the ship pulled into port, Marina rushed to Elsa and Anna, hugging them both tightly.

"Oh, I've missed you both terribly."

"We've missed you." Anna said.

"How was your trip?" Elsa asked.

Marina blushed and shrugged her shoulders, both of her friends giggled, knowing about her seasickness. Elsa wrapped her arm around Marina.

"Come on. We've prepared a feast for you." Elsa said.

"Wait till you see your room! It's the same one that you use to have." Anna added.

As both girls began to lead Marina towards the carriage, she noticed something very unusual: a snowman staring at her, with a goofy grin on its face.

"Hi." The snowman finally said.

Marina giggled. "Hi, you must be Olaf."

Olaf gasped. "You know my name."

"Of course I do." Marina knelt down in front of Olaf. "Elsa wrote to me about you."

"She did?"

"Yes, and I'm very glad to meet you in person."

"Really? Y-You are?"

"Of course. How many people get the chance to meet a talking snowman?"

Marina followed Elsa and Anna to the carriage, waving goodbye to Olaf over her shoulder. All the snowman did was give another goofy grin and wave back eagerly. The young princess was amused by Olaf, and thought he would make a great friend while she was away from her kingdom.
