Part One:

Hank dropped his head in sadness as he stood on the front porch of Sheridan's cottage. His left hand fingered his gun and he sighed. He had to tell them. He didn't have a choice. He turned around and rang the doorbell. Inside, Luis groaned.

"What now?" he groaned as he placed Sheridan on the floor. She looked worried and tied the bathrobe tighter. Luis opened the door.

"Look, Hank, what's so important that you have to interrupt us?"

Us. Hank closed his eyes and opened them. He looked helplessly at Sheridan. "I know who the killer is, Luis."

Luis was taken aback. "Oh, yeah? Who?"

Hank sighed.

"Did you hear that, Whit? Us. I've lost Ethan," Theresa whispered.

"No, you haven't. Remember, you guys do have a date. Besides, Gwen is trying every low-handed trick in the book."

Theresa sighed. "I guess you're right."

"I am right. Now, come on. We need to get that bill for Ivy."

Theresa sighed and left. As Whitney opened the door, a young man charged through, crashing into Theresa, knocking her to the ground. He smiled impishly as he helped her up.

"I'm so sorry. I'm Derek Crane."

Theresa was stunned. "Did you just say Crane?"

"Yeah, why? Do you know Ethan?"

"Yes, he's my good friend."

"Do you know where he is?"

"He's at that table, with Gwen."

"Oh, his happy bride, right?"

"Actually--"

"They moved the wedding up," Whitney finished.

"Oh, that sucks." He smiled again. "I didn't get your name."

"Theresa. Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald."

"Hi, Theresa. Well, I'm going to check on my older bro. I'll catch you later, ok?" Derek smiled at Theresa and walked away.

"My husband and Ivy? Lovers?" Grace Bennett whispered as tears welled up in her eyes. She turned to Sam. "Is that true?"

Sam sighed. As much as he loved his wife and didn't want to see her cry, he knew he didn't have a choice. "Yes."

Grace slapped Sam. The entire room gasped. "When were you planning to tell me?"

"I didn't want you to know!" Sam said.

"How long has this been going on?" Grace demanded.

"Twenty years ago! We met in high school."

"How long did you date her?" Grace asked. She was crying freely now.

"Two years. I lost her to Julian."

"Do you still love her?" Grace asked.

Sam sighed. "I don't know."

"It's a yes or no question, Sam. Tell me, do you love her?"

Sam looked from Grace to Ivy. Grace was his wife, but he did still have feelings for Ivy.

"No, I don't still love her. But I do still have feelings for her."

Grace slapped Sam as hard as she could. "Don't come home tonight." With that, she turned from the shocked crowd and stormed out of the room.

Sam glared at Ivy and chased after Grace. She sighed.

"What have I done?" she whispered.
