One day, Natsu Dragoneel and his best friend, who just so happened to be a flying, talking, cat named Happy, were walking to their home when they stumbled pone a girl. The girl was being hit around by a large group.
Natsu: Hay! What do you think you're doing?!
The men stared at Natsu and Happy, then started laughing. a man in the group spoke: mind your own business, kid!
That remark made Natsu angry.
Natsu: well you're hitting that girl like some kind of punching bag!
Man: you don't even know this gir-
The man was interrupted by the girl.
Girl: please…go…
This action confused Natsu and Happy. The girl was in trouble but she told them to leave!
Natsu: umm… are you shore? I mean…you're in trouble…
Girl: I am ok…but if you don't leave now, you will not be so…ok….
Man: Shut up you little brat!
The man then punched the girl.
The girl then spit up blood. Girl: please….leave….
Natsu didn't know what to say. The girl didn't want help. So he left. He didn't see the girl after that. Until…..
Natsu: I have to find Happy….Happy! Where are you Happy!
Natsu was in the woods looking for his friend. Then he heard something coming from the darkness. Could it be Happy? Natsu thought.
It wasn't…it was the girl. She was running from something. She wasn't looking and bumped in to Natsu.
They both fell to the ground.
Natsu: Hey! Watch where you're goin-!
Natsu recognized the girl immediately.
The girl started to stand but Natsu grabbed her arm. The girl stopped and looked over at natsu.
Girl: what do you need?
Natsu: who are you? Why are you running?
The girl looked down and didn't say a word for a little bit.
Girl: my name is…Layla. I am running because…
She stopped talking. She froze. Then answer.
Layla: someone's after me…
Natsu: who? Why?
Layla: A whole illegal gild.
Natsu: why?
Layla: because I am very powerful. I am an ice dragon-slayer.
Natsu stopped. Dragon-slayer? What happened to your dragon? Did he disappear?
Layla looked at him with a puzzled look. Then sighed.
Layla: You mean…you don't know what happened either? I'm sorry.
Then, she passed out. Natsu put Layla on his back and carried her to fairy tail. On the way we saw Happy.
Natsu: Happy!
