Snap!

The digital camera captures a monarch butterfly perched upon a bright green leaf.

'Oh, I love taking pictures so much.' Kagome thought.

She smiled as she looked through the memory stick of the camera.

But how she frowned as she saw the captured memories of him.

Her first and last love.

'I miss you InuYasha.' She thought.

Photos: Frozen memories. The people never age, there thoughts and smiles preserved for all eternity.

Cherish those memories.

You never know, when one day.

You might need them.

"Hey dear." The white haired figure spoke as he embraced her small body from behind.

They were in the park, enjoying a late lunch as the orange sun began to set.

It was a classic romance.

From high school to college.

Never apart since they first kissed.

In high school they often had feuds.

But once they buried the hatchet, and kissed for the first time in the community pool.

It never stopped.

He truly treated her as a queen.

She got what she wanted, when she wanted.

From new clothes, even to cars.

"I love you, thanks for this beautiful outing." Kagome smiled back to him.

Her love.

The emrace still continued, and Kagome took the camera and snapped a photo of them.

Flash, Snap!

Single tears rolled down her skin as she touched the digital screen with her fingers.

And as she closed her eyes, she could smell him.

His unique smell.

She could remember his smile.

So perfect.

She could remember his clothes, his looks.

His eyes.

His voice.

His touch.

How he made love.

Everything about him, she took it all in and she wanted to scream.

But she just opened her eyes.

She cried at the sight.

He still wasn't there.

Kagome wanted to see him.

But just

one more time.

One more moment.

So she could say those hard words.

That no one wants to say.

"Good bye my love." She whispered aloud.

She touched the digital screen one more time.

One more single tear rolled down her flesh.

She walked over to the pond.

She removed the memory stick from the camera.

And flying...

Went the camera.

She remembers that horrid day.

But not anymore does she want to remember the bad.

Only the good.

"I have some great news honey." Kagome told InuYasha over the cellphone as he was on his way home from work.

"What is it..."

Before she knew it, the most wretched sounds rang over the phone.

She just knew what had happened.

The police came to the door.

He had lost his life when a drunk driver ran a traffic signal.

And that was the last time she would ever think of that moment.

She packed up the remains of her lunch.

And put the lunch bag over her shoulder, and the memory stick in her left pocket.

From her pocket she removed the car keys.

And walked to the car, with her hand on her pregnant belly.
