I actually thought of this a long time ago. Thank you for the reviews and favorites for all of my other stories. ^^
Misa Amane was extremely mad. Why couldn't she go on a date with Light where it's just the two of them? "Why does that pervert Ryuzaki have to be there?"Misa asked herself. "He's such a pervert!"
Misa was currently going to see Light and Ryuzaki. She had a special song to sing to Light because she just loves him so much.
L and Light were working on the case when-
"LLLLLIIIIIGGGGGHHHHTTTT!"
That happened.
"Yes, Misa?" replied Light.
"Misa-Misa has a special song to sing to her Lighty to exppress all of her love for him!"
Light didn't need this. Couldn't Misa see that he was busy working on the case? L felt the same way, so he said," Misa-san, Light-kun and I are very busy working on the case. We do not have time picnics, movies, concert, walks in the park, and other kinds of dates. And no singing."
"RYUZAKI!"
"I'm sorry Misa-san."
Matsuda was listening to this conversation. He thought it was really sweet that Misa wanted to sing Light a song. Not only that, but he wanted to hear her song. And sing along if he knew it. So he spoke up.
"Guys, I think that we should let Misa-Misa sing!"
"Misa-Misa should get to sing for her Lighty! He knows what he's talking about!"
L just decided that if he let Misa sing her song to Light, she wouldn't bother them after.
"Misa-san, go ahead and sing your song to Light."
"Thank you, pervert-I MEAN Ryuzaki!"
"Ima pervert?"
"OK Light!"
Misa began to sing.
"Do you know the Muffin Man,
The Muffin man, The Muffin Man,
Do you know the Muffin Man!"
Misa stopped singing and waited for Light to ask.
Light was confused. He asked,"Do you?"
Misa then said,"NO! CUZ I ATE HIM LAST TUESDAY!"
Light stared at Misa like she was insane.
Matsuda was sad. He didnt get to sing along.
Meanwhile, L was twitching. Then, all of a sudden-
"ARREST MISA AMANE FOR MURRDER! MURDER OF THE MUFFIN MAN! WATARI!"
L continued to break down. He was muttering,"Kill the Muffin man...I dont think so...does she have any how idea how bid of a deal that is?
Im not a pervert..."
Light was surprised. He didnt know that L could show human emotion.
Watari rushed into the room and unlocked the chain then escorted L out. Five minutes later, he returned.
"I have something to explain to you. When L was little, he loved muffins. He would also go around singing the Muffin Man song. Until one day I told him the truth. The Muffin Man was a a real man. He did not have the body of a muffin. He was a human.
And he was L's father."
Everybody gasped. They all stared at Misa.
"I didn't really eat him...It's just the song..."
Everyboday then went," OHHHH!"
Watari cleared his throat." Well, L should be fine again tomorrow. He just needs to bake muffins, give the muffins life."
He pointed to the kitchen." If anyone wants to look in, they may. I am off. Roger is being mauled by Mr. Squiggles, once again.
"I HATE THAT CAT!" yelled Light.
"Dont we all?" replied Watari. With that, he left the room.
Light went to go look at L. He opened the door and peeked through.
L had on a baker's hat and his hair was sticking out from under it in all directions. He was wearing a frilly pink apron.
Light shut the door and ran somewhere far away. Then -
"AWWWWWWWWW! HE WAS SO CUTE!"
***Back at the kitchen***
Matsuda looked into the kitchen.
He let out an "AWWWWWW!"
L turned around...
and...
gave him a hug.
The End!
Light was OOC at the "HE'S SO CUTE!"
L was when he gave Matsuda a hug.
Matsuda was fine. ^^
The Muffin Man is not really L's father though. ^
