Reason 1# Gossiping
"Guess who just asked a veela to the ball, P ?" Asked Lavender Brown, a curly-haired teenage girl. Parvati Patil and Lavender were two fourth years with a whole lot to talk about. Their new subject of gossip: The Yule Ball. Parvati's brow shot up. "Who?" asked she, looking up from her Witch Weekly magazine. Lavender waited a second before bursting with exitement. "Ronald Weasley! He was entering The Dining Hall and…"
Reason 2# Interrupting
"Hermione are you listening?" sighed Ron Weasley, his firecracker red hair matted with sweat from a winning Quidditch match. Her chocolate eyes stayed hooked on the page of her book as her other best friend, Harry Potter, entered the room. "Hey, Hermione, did you watch the Quidditch match?" he asked, plopping himself on a lush sofa. She didn't look up. The Common Room door blasted open, revealing Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts. "Children-" he cried out. "WHAT!Oh. Sorry Headmaster"said Hermione, finally looking up from her page.
Reason 3# Looking Out for Nifflers
"Harry, watch out!"cried out a dirty-blond Luna Lovegood. Harry Potter jumped in surprise, then eyed the room for possible danger. "What is it Luna?" he asked. "Are you okay?" She smiled. "Oh, I'm fine. You just had a Niffler on you".
Reason 4# Sketching
Ginny Weasley sighed as she etched his perfect skin. 'Harry Potter is just…..everything I dreamed of'. Too bad he doesn't know' She thought wistfully, adding a dimple to the portrait.
Reason 5# Hunting
Crookshanks eyed his prey hungrily. 'It would go well with some milk'. Eyeing Scabbers carefully, she lept from her nook and lunged at the small rodent. He scurried quickly across the wooden floor, racing for under the door, a territory the cat just couldn't reach. 'You beat me this time, little rat, you sure did. Just remember, now. I'll be back. Oh yes I will'.
