"Kagome, it isn't that easy." he ran his hand through his silver hair. She turned her head to look at him. She sighed sadly and turned away again.

'Yes. It is…' she winced.

I wish that I was her and I wish that she was me

Kagome sat down, her hands massaging the forest floor. Inuyasha sat down beside her. "Have you even thought about it?" she whispered.

"I don't want to hurt her. I can't hurt her." he frowned. He wrapped his arm around her. She shrugged him off.


'Cause how could this ever start?
If you're afraid to break her heart?

He pulled her closer to him, his face digging into her raven hair. He breathed in her scent. Oh, how he loved her scent…

"Ai shiteru, Kagome." A tear rolled down her cheek.

'Then tell her that.'


You say you love me so
You have to let her know

"Inuyasha" her sullen voice echoed through the forest. Kagome stood up and brushed the dirt from her school uniform.

"I better go." she wiped the tears from her eyes. Inuyasha didn't protest, which made the tears come quicker.

All that she wants is you

"There you are" she purred. Her raven hair was delicately put back. Inuyasha chocked and stepped forward. He leaned down and kissed her pale lips. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close.

All that you gotta do
It's to set her free

Kagome looked at the two from behind a hollowed tree. Oh how she wanted to sit him until she heard his bones breaking…

'Why do I even bother?'

Love's not an easy thing
Always somebody gets hurt

"Kagome?" Sango looked at her friend as she ran towards her. "What's wrong?" Kagome caught her breath, "Inuyasha…Kikyou…" she drowned off.

"Nani?"

"He's supposed to be mine. But he keeps returning to her. I can't stand it anymore!"

"Why don't you calm down Kagome."


I know you were meant for me, even though she saw you first

She shook her head. "I can't stay here. I need to think things through." She suppressed more tears and ran towards the well.

"Goodbye!" she shouted at she spiraled down back into her own time.


But deal with her honestly
I won't let you cheat with me

"Where's Kagome?!" Inuyasha demanded. He looked around at everyone sitting calmly around a fire eating. No one stirred at his presence. No one even acknowledged it. "Where is she?!" he grabbed Shippou by the tail. The kistune glared at him.

"She went home. She said she isn't gonna come back. It's all your fault!" Shippou leaped out of his hands. "I don't know what you did, but it must have been pretty big."


I guess you never knew
What you put yourself into

Inuyasha ran to the well, his heart pounding. 'She couldn't have sealed the well, could she? Does she even know how?' he ran faster now, his eyes showing worry.

He reached the well and swallowed his pride. He jumped in, just to hit hollow dirt.

"Did I do the right thing?" Kagome sighed. She leaned against her side of the well. 'If I ever change my mind, I can just unseal it, right?' she bit her lip and sighed again.

"I hope so."

My newest depressing fic. I had writer's block for like, two days. Mostly because no one would review my one story, Into the Darkness… *cries* I still don't have any reviews on it! Feh! Oh well, hopefully SOME nice person who is reading this will review it just to make me happy.
