A/N: Went up to the lake, which inspired another fic I'll be posting later today.

According to Maleficent, Riku was going through a 'Slim Shady' phase. Ansem didn't know what that was supposed to mean, but he thought it sounded cool.

Of course, his ignorance didn't last very long as he walked by Riku's room at least twice a day, where CDs were constantly playing obnoxious music and there was eventually the connection between the ever-playing artist and this 'Slim Shady' character.

'I saw my life flash in front of my eyes; I felt a butcher knife slash at one of my thighs,' was what Ansem heard with a fist poised at the boy's door. He lost his nerve, deciding teens were strange.

Ansem stared at the door with a look that purely screamed: 'What the fuck?' etched into his face at the rapper saying: 'Slap hips, support domestic violence. Beat your bitch's ass while your kids stare in silence.' Ansem waked away, once more losing his nerve, deciding that he didn't like this Slim Shady guy.

It was the third day and Ansem decided that, no matter what he heard, he was going to talk to Riku today. He was expecting to hear something worse than last time, so imagine the pleasant shock of hearing: 'Don't let 'em say you ain't beautiful -whoa-oh-oh-oh. They can all get fucked, just stay true to you.' The music abruptly stopped and the door revealed a Riku smirking so hard that out of context you'd see it and think he'd caught Ansem with his pants down...of course, that was the same look that he had when Ansem had caught Riku with his pants down -a more common occurrence than you'd think.

"You gonna come in, or what?"

Ansem was directed to sit on Ansem's bed while the younger straddled his computer chair across from him, succeeding in making his master uncomfortable, which was probably his goal, knowing the wicked silveret."

"So? You've come to my door the last three days, stood there a while, and left, what's up?"

"I...noticed you haven't been leaving your room much. I thought maybe you'd like to go on a date."

The prince brightened immediately at the thought. "That would be great! Maybe I'll get new CDs while we're out; these tracks have been getting really old really fast."

Ansem liked that idea at the time, but was ill-prepared for the My Chemical Romance phase that followed...
