Wow. You take it in. It hurt a little, remembering. You play with the grass as you do so. Her hair was shorter, then. You wonder why she grew it out? Possibly from pure laziness. You smirk to yourself. That was always a part of her you couldn't ignore. She was hardworking only when she wanted to be.

"So." She sighs and sits down, crossing her legs. "How are things?"

"Fine. You've haven't been around for a while."

"Yeah, sorry about not stopping by more! I got a little busy, you know, college."

"When are you leaving?"

"I'm leaving in two days." She doesn't hesitate or back down in saying it, her voice is strong.

"Two days, huh." You meet her gaze. "You got everything ready?"

"I packed today." She continues the small talk for a while before she tells you that she has to go. She stands up and drops off her gift to you.

"Sunflowers, huh?"

"I know you liked these so..." She suddenly begins to cry. You stare at her.

"Ah, not again Harley...Hey, Come on, it's OK." You stand closer to her, almost touching.

"I'm sorry, I'm fine." She sniffs and wipes her eyes on her sleeve putting on a smile. She laughs lightheartedly.

"Bye Dave." And she's gone. And you were left alone with your memories and your stupid gravestone.
