I take a swing on the angsty side! Hope you enjoy!

Link swung his mighty Master Sword, light reflecting off the polished blade. Ganon grunted and crumpled to the ground, gasping and wheezing for breath. Link pulled the sword out of the disfigured oaf, and exalted while wiping beads of sweat from his brow. The greatest evil known to Hyrule was lying in his feet in a pool of its own blood!
Sheathing the glinting blade, Link inspected the corpse. His sword had done him well- the monster was dead. But Link didn't see the figure lingering in the shadows as he smiled and lightly nudged the body with his leather Hylian boot.
A look of immense disbelief and shock crossed his fine elven features as the body dissolved, leaving a tall, slim crushed figure at his feet. The creature moaned, and her voice cracked. "Link, what have you done?" Link stared at the small girl standing in front of him, and his jaw dropped before he uttered, "Z-Zelda?" Zelda's bright blue eyes dimmed as they closed shut.
"No!" he shouted as he threw himself on the ground. "This can't be! I was fighting Ganon!" A chuckled emitted from the shadows. "Ah, Link. My foe." an evil and distorted voice sounded behind him. Link whirled around, whipping out the Master Sword, tears glinting in his eyes.
Before him stood a tall Gerudo male, with flaming red hair and a hooked nose. His mouth was curled into a sneer, and his eyes glinted with malice. "So we meet again. Looks like you did my dirty work and killed off the princess."
Link lunged towards Ganondorf, hatred gleaming through tears. A short electrical blast forced him backwards, slamming into a dirt wall. "Are you that weak?" Ganondorf taunted, throwing a fiery blaze of light into Link's body. The shock caused Link to scream with pain, and slump against the wall. "So horribly weak. I thought I would have a better time with you Link." he smirked, kicking Link sharply in the side.
"You killed her!" he screamed at Ganondorf. "You-" He yelled savagely as he rose to his feet, thrusting his sword towards his foe. "Killed-" he continued, slicing the evil being in the arm through his gauntlet. "Her!" He yelled, and collapsed onto the floor.
"We have our roles mixed up, Link. I'm afraid you are the one that brutally murdered her." Hot tears stung the corner of Link's eyes. He felt like giving up, when he heard a song in his head. An amazing, beautiful song of all the Temple's songs blended in together. A rainbow shimmering aura surrounded him, and he received the Sages' gifts. Eyes glimmering, he raised his arms above his head, and a rainbow ball of elemental magic formed in his gloved hands.
With his last strength, he hurled the blast at Ganondorf, and dropped to the floor, semi-unconscious. Ganondorf screamed as the mixture of the Sages' power overwhelmed him. Shrieking, he exploded into a shattering of multicolored rays of light, and dissipated.
*****
Link awoke to the setting of the sun, badly bruised and bloodied. He stood to his feet shakily, and shaded his eyes away from the glare of the setting sun. A voice echoed in his head, a sweet, gentle serene voice. Link, you did the right thing by destroying me. It was the only way to kill Ganondorf. "Zelda?" he cried out, in a mixture of joy and anguish.
Yes Link. It was written in the Tome of Time that I was to be sacrificed for the saving of all Hyrulian kind. Understand this Link, it was meant to happen. "No." he mummered, holding his head and brushing golden locks away from his eyes. A tear trickled down his cheek.
It was meant to be. Always understand that. I'll miss you Link, and I'll be waiting... "I miss you Zelda. Always..."
