Magic Beyond the Pages
Chapter 1
Elora opened her favorite book from the Harry Potter series for the hundredth time. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the book where things got good and the action started. And for the hundredth time Elora wished she could be there with Harry, Hermione, and Ron at the Burrow getting ready to go to the Quidditch World Cup. Elora made her wish out loud, "I wish I could be at the burrow right now!" A light so bright it blinded Elora radiated from the book, the next thing she knew she was being sucked into the pages of her favorite book and into the scene where everyone at the Burrow was waking up and getting ready to leave for the World Cup. Swirling downward Elora screamed because it felt like free fall with no safe way down and that any moment she could land with a splat on the solid ground. The wind was being knocked out of her. Then as suddenly as it started Elora was hovering in the air then dropped on her face right outside the Burrow where she had been reading in her book.
"Ow!", Elora shouted. As her vision starts to clear she sees bodies running towards her, but they are blurry and she is too stunned to move from the ground. She gives a moan as someone moves her to get a better look at what happened.
"Who is she?", a male voice asks.
"I don't know. This isn't good since the ministry has had to be dealing with Death Eater activity lately. They will want to question her.", the voice had to be Percy's with that know-it-all attitude.
"She has no wand on her, Arthur. Is she even a witch? Arthur, what if she is a muggle?! Something has happened to this poor child.", Molly Weasley fussed about.
"Dad, we are going to be late to the Quidditch World Cup!", Ron complained. Molly Weasley used her wand to levitate Elora into the house. Always the urgent mother she shooed away the family before they were late to meet and his son Cedric and miss the port key. Harry, Ron, and Hermione looked at the girl that laid unconscious in the Weasley living room, not knowing that she will become entangled in the events that are to come.
