I walk to Daniel's lab quickly. I'm sure he's there. He and Carter are a lot alike.
Yup, there he is. "Hiya, Daniel." I walk over to him to get a better look at the doohickey in his hand. He's told me what it is before, but I wasn't paying attention.
"Hi Jack. What's up?"
"I'm going fishing. Wanna come? It's been a while since we've gone." He's got that look on his face. I know what he's going to say.
"Sorry Jack. I can't. I have some translations that SG-11 needs me to get done by tomorrow morning."
Of course. Correction, he and Carter are too much alike.
Damn. What's a guy gotta do to get his friends to go fishing with him?
