Annabeth
Annabeth knew a lot of things.
She knew all the names of the campers, which took a long time because seriously-their parents gave them weird names hard to pronounce-she knew almost all of the great architects, she knew a lot of battle strategies and-yeah she knew a lot of things.
She also knew that Percy was drifting away from her.
And she knew that Nico di Angelo was in love with her boyfriend.
So she was doing all she can to enjoy being with him until he decided to let her go or she decides to let him go for him.
Annabeth knows it will hurt.
Percy
Percy had to be insane.
He was sure that he loved Annabeth. The beautiful daughter of Athena, that was his best friend for all his demigod life. She had been there with him through thick and thin. For goodness' sake,Percy gave up immortality, held up the sky for her and fell into Tartarus for her. He made sacrifices for Annabeth. Heck, she was his mortal anchor to the human world.
So Percy had to be insane when he realized that he liked a certain son of Hades. A certain pale-skinned Italian, who he had rescued from a manticore back at Westover Hall.
But Percy pushed the feeling away, thinking that it was just some silly form of missing him.
"Percy?"
The familiar voice of Annabeth Chase shook him out of his thoughts. Percy looks up and into Annabeth's stormy grey eyes, looking at him with curiosity.
"You okay?" She asks,frowning.
"Yeah."
Annabeth smiles a bit before leaning in to kiss him. Percy closed his eyes, waiting for the butterflies and sparks he'd always feel when they kissed.
It didn't come.
Nico
Nico hates Percy.
He hates how the single thought of the Sea Prince made his stomach churn. He hated how Percy could make him smile without even trying to. He hated Percy's sea-green eyes that left him mesmerized every time. He hated how he wanted to kill whoever hurt Percy. He hated how happy he gets when he sees the latter-even though it doesn't show.
He hates how deep his feelings are for the Son of Poseidon.
"I really hate Percy." He muttered to himself,as he sighs and buries his face in his hands.
He felt hopeless against his feelings. He knew he had to move on.
But he couldn't.
Aphrodite isn't done with him yet,he thinks.
