Don't Let Go
I never thought I'd see the day,
You without the light in your optics.
I thought that look would be mine,
You were the one who was full of life.
Energon is everywhere,
Yet you're still here.
You don't ask for help,
Instead telling me to go away.
I come closer,
You don't make an effort to move.
A shadow of your former self,
I never saw the signs.
It was all a façade,
How did you hide this side for this long?
I know you're fading,
You're barely hanging on.
I hold you close and beg,
"Don't let go."
